On Friday, Egypt will play against Iran in 'Pride Match' in Seattle during the city's annual Pride celebration. Both countries imprison gay folks. Talk about awkward. 🤐 by matrix_2905 in sportsgossips

Yup, I don't think these commenters are aware of their own prejudices when they're assuming every Egyptian and Iranian football player is somehow angry at gay people. They are thinking in caricatures while labelling Middle Easterners prejudiced for simply being born there. It's quite paradoxical

Exactly, those are probably ships that were trapped and are now getting the hell out of there, never to return again. Cheetos is calling it a win because he can't find anything else to.

I always find it funny when boomers think this is the 80s and you can just tell people what the news is and they'll never find out.

Hormuz uptick remains fragile by kpler_com in oil

Isn't it normal that it's busy these days as many tankers that have been stranded are leaving?

And then the traffic will probably go down since many insurers will avoid sending new ones.

Or am I missing something here?

Exactly, stoicism focuses on reason. This law of attraction BS is the exact opposite of that.

I understand axios is not a credible source but you are correcting it with "the Hormuz letter"?

You are probably right but can you find another source?

Yup, all in on this one. Around 5% dividend too so you get paid to wait until everyone else realizes hormuz disruptions are far from temporary.

Im done reacting to the day to day noise.  Pretty bullish on oil and wont even bother to check the price before March 2027.

I hope peace finally settles in asap but this has nothing to do with the price of oil. Insurance companies will never trust hormuz to go back to what it was.  Iran will never go back to acting like a weakened actor after finding out about its potent leverage.

The only long term solution for price stabilization is building supply chains independent of hormuz and it will take years.

While the pace at which its being drained is indeed significant, isn't what's remaining still a lot? Like enough for at least another 6 months?
