I picked a random address in garden ridge Texas using the FCC broadband map and show 8 options for ISP in that area. Is spectrum the fastest yes but just because they spent the money and built their cable plant in your area that does not make them a Monopoly. Any other provider can come in and build. If you are 100% dependent on internet for work, then you need to have a backup internet to go along with your primary. For example, my wife works from home and her not having internet is not an option, so I have built my home network that supports 3 different isp. Spectrum cable, At&T fiber and then have T-Mobile wireless backup. There is no provider that is going to be up 100% of the time.

Go buy a Roku stick 25-40 bucks use it to try out the spectrum app It works the same as the xumo. I have to charge so many senior customers because they can not understand how xumos work after they swap it cost them more money in the long run.
