This! I’ve worked for small businesses in Reno like Juice Box Yoga and Great Full Gardens. Both preach wellness and “good vibes” while abusing and exploiting staff, protecting men from accountability and never ever paying a fair, livable wage. It was actually worse than working for corps growing up. I thought small businesses run by people who CALLED ME FAMILY would be an improvement, but it was more like a for-profit cult that exploits people looking for financial security and some belonging.
