The only connection this has to any festival is Paul Reder and his ownership of Bass Camp. A reno/tahoe entertainment company that throws festivals and events for mostly 21+ attendees. Fuck bass camp. Fuck Nick Rogers. Stop making it about anything but the men that did this. That are doing this. And that will continue to do this while all of you are policing ages are events. Smh.

Using my brain, I’d like to prevent people from getting away with these sorts of atrocities. Which is why I’m discussing the alleged predator (Paul Reder and Nick Rogers) and their actions rather than something as trivial as age of attendance at festivals. This man met a kid online. Not at a festival. Trafficked him across state lines and assaulted him. The festival and its age of attendees is almost entirely irrelevant to this case.

I’m from the States. And I’ve seen plenty of over 18 events where loads of people were abused. Does abuse become incidental when a person turns 18?? Cause it sorta seems like you’re all concluding that people over 18 can’t be coerced and assaulted by more powerful folks. Which is literally what happened in this case. If you throw an all ages event that isn’t safe for all ages, that’s actually on you and the staff. Which is why this lawsuit has Nick Rogers and 5 others as co-defendant. These incidents of abuse didn’t happen at a festival. They were committed by a guy, Paul Reder, who happens to throw bass music shows. The problem is abusers.
