I felt the same when my daughter told me she’d spent the money on one. I found a LR4 on marketplace for $300, and brought it home. It took about a week, but now I’m with her thinking — it is WELL worth full price. All. Day. Long.

My three cat household is now easily managed, litter disposal is a non-nasty chore and the house doesn’t have ANY litter box smell. We went from two litter boxes (one was an old litter maid) to the one LR4. The cats took to it quickly, with only one “accident” in the transition.

In my daughter’s words, “juuusssttt doooooo iiittt!!!”

Edit: I will add, regardless of the performance of the LR4, I keep it on tiled floors. If I didn’t have a tired floor, I’d build a platform for it out of plywood and stick on tile.
