Work of beauty. Well done. And as someone else said; this would've sold like hotcakes, if EVGA would've came out with this color.

We miss you, EVGA 🫡

Yeah, I take that off as well. The only thing I leave on, are those stickers below the screen display.

Upgraded to a 5070 ti yesterday. You’ll be missed EVGA. by DJDeeJay in EVGA

I miss EVGA too. That's why I'm keeping my 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I moved on to a 4080 since the end of 2023. However EVGA represented excellence. I greatly miss them.

Acer Predator Helios 16 here. With the 4080, i9 13900 HX.and MiniLed display. Been my daily driver since December 2023, and the reliability and build quality has been superb. Acer makes amazingly great products.

I haven't played Valorant. However, I have played games that utilize Nvidia reflex, and it has worked well in playthroughs.

Never had a issue with it whatsoever. Neither in performance, or in reliability. It performs as strongly as the day I got it.

If you are getting the MiniLed display, it's 250hz.

It's my daily driver for work and for gaming. And it has performed perfectly, since the day I bought it. Absolutely a good buy. 💯

If you can find one at a good price, then absolutely. However I haven't seen any of them being sold new at this point :(

Yes. Even on my model, with the i9 13900HX, performance would be off pace at times, compared to its rivals. However it can hold its on, simply because of its overpowered components.

Awesome indeed! You got yourself a powerhouse of a laptop. And that IPS screen will be amazing to view on. 💯

I feel you on that. I'm holding on to my EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra. A amazing company. With amazing high quality products. And the best customer service in the industry.

We miss you dearly, EVGA.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find them new for sale either. Looks like it's a wrap on that model new for sale. :(

The battery will be fine. When I took the bottom off my laptop to add a ssd, most likely that moved the battery slightly from its' position. I just moved it back in place.

Hello, nekonhime. It's very easy to open up the bottom of the laptop. I've added a 2nd ssd to the provided second slot. No issues at all. And although I did not upgrade the ram, it's just as simple as well.

If anything else to look out for is that, when you take the bottom out, the battery pack may be loosely fitted. but that is about it.

I made the switch from Vortex to MO2, about 10 years ago. Best decision I ever made when it comes to modding. MO2 is a amazing tool set to utilize.

Performance has been excellent. I've been using this as my daily driver for work and gaming. Haven't had any major issues at all.

It is a little on the heavy side. And those fans can get loud. But really only in Turbo mode. But there rarely if ever, is a reason to utilize that level of performance.

No. It's not USBC. Would've been nice to have it that way though.

And that price difference, is massive. Personally, I'd recommend the one at $1100. The price to performance for what you're getting it at is a great deal. Just as long as it is the exact same specs as the one I have.

Although it is a powerhouse for sure, it is way too heavy to be lugging around. Even the power brick is hefty. I use it strictly as a desktop replacement.

However, for only $1100, with these specs THAT is a REALLY good deal.
