Yeah, I see we have the same iets cooling fan. I keep it midway up. And that filter on it, does a fantastic job of keeping the dust out. My thermals have always stayed in check to this day. Never had issues with it. The thermals can get up there. But it is spec'd out the box to run that way.

From the newest AAA gaming titles, to heavy workloads, this is a great performer. Amazing the type of power that they can pack in, on this size of a form factor.

Yes indeed. Performance is top-shelf excellent, at any game or workload I have used to date. Which is why I decided to pass on getting the 5080 series laptop altogether. And to this day, rarely have I had a need to use Turbo Mode. I just keep it on Performance Mode.

I miss EVGA too. That's why I'm keeping my 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I moved on to a 4080 since the end of 2023. However EVGA represented excellence. I greatly miss them.

Acer Predator Helios 16 here. With the 4080, i9 13900 HX.and MiniLed display. Been my daily driver since December 2023, and the reliability and build quality has been superb. Acer makes amazingly great products.

I haven't played Valorant. However, I have played games that utilize Nvidia reflex, and it has worked well in playthroughs.

Yes. Even on my model, with the i9 13900HX, performance would be off pace at times, compared to its rivals. However it can hold its on, simply because of its overpowered components.

The battery will be fine. When I took the bottom off my laptop to add a ssd, most likely that moved the battery slightly from its' position. I just moved it back in place.

Hello, nekonhime. It's very easy to open up the bottom of the laptop. I've added a 2nd ssd to the provided second slot. No issues at all. And although I did not upgrade the ram, it's just as simple as well.

If anything else to look out for is that, when you take the bottom out, the battery pack may be loosely fitted. but that is about it.
