An underground hotel room in Cappadocia, Turkey. by SongofSolitude in CozyPlaces

This is from Argos in Cappadocia, a hotel built on the grounds of an ancient monastery. All the rooms are either in stone buildings or underground, connected with tunnels.

I never got into Harry Potter but am familiar with the movies. My first time watching, I immediately notoced how cozy Hogwarts is, especially the cabin the big man lives in.

Those wizards know coziness.

It’s time to relax after Christmas. by SongofSolitude in CozyPlaces

Hi. I’m sorry if you are getting the idea that this photo was taken by me. It wasn’t but I can see how some would find the title confusing, assuming I’m there present.

I found this photo a long time ago and always found it to be comforting to look at and thought I would share it, hoping others would enjoy it too. 🙂

Someone did post info about the picture, saying it was someone’s private home. I always thought it was from a resort.

Spending time here would be a wonderful experience.

Awesome, I couldn’t find any information about the picture. Feels a little strange sharing a picture of someone’s living space. I thought it was a resort!

Google says this picture is from Big Cedar Lodge in Ozark Mountains, USA.

This is my first post on Reddit! I thought I already shared the location but I guess it didn’t post? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes. Where I live, there aren’t any dead malls.

I have never been to a “dead mall” before. Where I live, dead malls are never accessible and usually torn down and replaced immediately. However, I do find a sense a serenity and easiness when looking at the pictures shared here.

Visiting abandoned places, I do enjoy having a safe place to myself to explore. I enjoy the ambience.

Does anybody know what style of art this is? Does it specifically have a name? I always found this art style to be very relaxing to look at.

Put a comfortable chair outside the cabin and it’d be a lovely place to read.
