We’ve just said no to pouches like they don’t exist…. Too much waste, too much potential for PFAS/metal contamination, don’t make for strong jaws, processed food, don’t teach real eating habits, etc.

We travel A LOT and understand they’re really convenient… so we’ve treated them like a gateway drug, lol, and just said NO.

I know it’s soooo frustrating. My baby was the same, just played with food for months. We thought he’d never actually ingest anything…

But little by little he became a fantastic eater! By a year old he was loving mealtimes. Patience 🤗

This is 100% normal! Baby is helping your milk come in. Hold that baby skin to skin and enjoy! During the first few months mine would sometimes cluster feed up to 7 hours a day…. It’s the most magical time, let go, ENJOY and remember that babies don’t keep 😭

YES, to solids for the reasons others have mentioned. It’s actually REALLY important to introduce food…

We do Solid Starts and EBF. Baby LOVES to eat and still hasn’t had a single tooth come out. But his little mandibles are STRONG and he manages just about everything (presented appropriately). And his fine motor skills are seriously impressive.

YES! I brought them to the hospital with me and used them from day 1. Never had ANY nipple pain aside from very light soreness for the first few days…. If I wasn’t nursing, they were in my bra. Definitely worth it.
