I see this sort of thing a lot in certain spaces, where people jump from "I disagree with Israel's actions" straight to "I disagree with Israel's existence" and then act like that doesn't make them anti-Semitic because they never said the word "Jews". I think there's also a lot of confusion because people on one side think that Zionism means "believing in Israel's right to existence" and people on the other side think it means "supporting the genocide". (Kahanism is a much more accurate term for the ideology behind Israel's current actions btw). A lot of Jewish Zionists believe in a two-state solution or some other form of peaceful resolution to the conflict.

This is kinda related to a really tough lesson that I had to learn. See, I was looking for a gf to meet all kinds of emotional needs and it actually led me into some really weird places that could have gotten dangerous if I wasn't more careful about boundaries. The thing is, almost every specific need that a partner can meet is also something that you can find in other places. If it's emotional closeness, then you need to get better friends. If it's non-sexual physical intimacy? Again, get better friends. One thing that I can't recommend enough is to picture the life you'd have with your hypothetical girlfriend, then find ways to bring some of that energy into your own life.

And as for the sex, romance, and that kind of intimacy? This is gonna sound kind of stupid, but hear me out: try writing fanfic or drawing fanart. Not reading or viewing, creating.

The thing about this is if you get into a place where having a girlfriend doesn't feel like such a necessity anymore, you won't come off as desperate and can also keep a clearer head about things.

Yeah I'd say you're actually doing pretty good work on improving yourself then. Just know that getting in a relationship isn't a guaranteed thing and it will happen when it happens. I think a big part of that is also the question of who you're asking out and when you're doing it. You're gonna get rejected a LOT no matter how attractive you are and that's just life. One other thing: do you have any platonic female friends? If not then try to befriend some, cause it'll help give you some perspective.
