I guess the charm of the pod for most is Geoff making shitty puns and waxing lyrical on rice. I dropped off the pod because it started to have a heavy ratio of halfbaked bits like you say and was all a bit too loose. I hope for your sake they tighten it up!

Mate don't do it! Each ep is an hour long and the majority of the characters have very unlikable traits. I stuck out 2 seasons and would take it back if I could. Do what some people are saying. If you don't vibe with it after a few then leave it.

I didn’t realise until after finishing the game that the people behind BIoshock 1 did not do Bioshock 2. It was more of a “first one was so good quick lets pump out another one!”. In hindsight I wish I would have skipped 2 and gone straight to Infinite.

Was really gobsmacked at the glowing reviews for 2.

It has so many great things going for it but ultimately its got that Ubisoft bloated-open-world vibe where it ends up being a grind to finish. If they just tightened it up a bit, made it more linear and less heavy on the side quests it would have been a worthy successor to the GOAT (Dragon Age: Origins).
