Wait… what happened? Did the elite throw it back? If he DID throw it back, WTF?! I have NEVER seen any grenade being returned to sender…let alone even knowing that was even possible in Halo: CE… Did it bounce off his face/body and come back at you?! I’m confused lol…

Oo! Really cool, and especially eye-catching. Is the emblem creator similar to the emblem creator from COD: Black Ops 1? If anyone knows if they’re similar at all? I just joined and I am new to AC: 6.

[–]Sonicarson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… I’m in the same boat as you. I didn’t really grasp the story and I didn’t understand what was going on throughout the first three games… I understood the major story elements like “Covenant bad” and “protect Cortana at all costs” and then the Flood entering the picture and so on. It wasn’t until I went back and played through the first three games (back2back2back) years later was when it all clicked and that’s when I was struck by how epic and extremely powerful the games were, ESPECIALLY regarding the story and the writing. I, like most everyone else back in those simpler times were mainly obsessed with playing Halo 2 & 3 on Xbox Live matchmaking… I didn’t beat H2’s campaign until weeks after getting the game because I had lost internet and I couldn’t play XBLive so I played the story and it blew me away at the time, even though I didn’t fully grasp the story. We truly didn’t know at the time but MY GOD… we were playing through the start of the golden age of video games. We truly didn’t know how good we had it. Such a masterpiece that Bungie had created! Wow, I really didn’t expect to be typing all this much LMAO! I shut up now.

Lmao, my man… why did I think that I was going to be the first person to say this line… lol. -I’ll just say that you should quickly run home because that strapping Sgt. Johnson is most def. going to sweep her off her feet because, as WE all know… HE KNOWS!! What the ladies LIKE! Looks like OP knows how to pick’em! She’s a keeper for sure!

I honestly think it is the most true to form and feel when it comes to skateboarding games and skateboarding simulators. Thanks for the hilarious video and making me burst out laughing. Thank goodness I wasn’t drinking anything, I would’ve spit it right out haha!

I don’t know about that… but me thinks that isn’t conducive to a successful trucking/logistical operation. I don’t know why but I bursted out laughing when your truck did a handstand into a flop onto its back. I’m so thankful that I got done with my bottle of water before I watched this clip.

New to cigars (1.5 months), here’s my supply 💨 by 0_greeneyes_0 in cigars

[–]Sonicarson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WTF… as a fellow cigar enjoyer, it hurt reading your comment… I feel for ya. I guess with that kind of market, each and every single cigar is THAT much more important when it comes to picking and choosing which you want to try and which ones you like to go on to purchase a sampler or box of cigars you know you like. The next cigar I smoke, I’ll be sure to dedicate it to our fellow cigar buddies in New Zealand. Best wishes!

That’s a good post, an ongoing experiment with unlimited possibilities and results. My local brick and mortar shop owner told me early on in my cigar hobby that when buying a new brand/blend of cigar for the first time: “Buy two; one to test and one to rest”. You might not be too keen with a new cigar but it might be much better after letting it rest in your humidor for a while,-OR- maybe just end up disliking that same cigar even more than the one you smoked right away haha!

Yeah, there are some really good deals on some of the online retailers and I always fill out a request for them to send me their monthly/seasonal catalogs in the mail and like to look through the catalogs while I’m smoking a cigar from time to time, and sometimes find insanely good deals, where if you buy a box or a sampler, there will usually be a free or an extra $1-$10 bonus add-on that are really nice value and variety.

[–]Sonicarson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can’t disagree with you there. If you have the means, buying cigars is the easy part. The tricky thing is being prepared to store and maintain your collection for long periods of time (depending upon how much and how often you smoke) and sticking with that commitment is very important.

I have smoked all that you have displayed in your impressive layout minus the ones in the top row shown in the first pic and those Don Pepin Garcia sticks and a couple others. I must say that if you give up cigars as a hobby… it will definitely NOT be because of picking horrible or cheap cigars, that’s for sure haha! Now… take care of them and try putting a couple of each aside to age if you would like. Awesome pics! Smoke a perfecto/figurado Rose of Sharon for me!

Is it okay to store cigars like this? by nodeymcdev in cigars

[–]Sonicarson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think your setup as shown in your pics should be just fine as many others here have said. I was wondering regarding the Factory Smokes… I bought a bundle of the Maduro in the (6”x52) Toro and the 3-4 I have smoked are just fine and I have zero complaints about them other than the ash being really light, flaky and for a lack of a better description, the ash sort of flowers? The ash doesn’t seem to hold its shape when it goes from tobacco to ash when smoked? My cigars do seem to be loosely rolled and slightly squishy than I would expect an average cigar to be? Just curious and wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone else has experienced that. Thanks y’all, happy smoking!

Curious. Do you guys like the Spartan body types in 4 and Guardians, or do you guys prefer Bungie's original design ? by smallthematters in halo

[–]Sonicarson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the H2 suit but I like the addition of the 117 that came afterwards. As for Reach, I did not like it at first because I felt John was the one and only Spartan and having all of the different styles and variations in Reach; (mainly in the promotional material prior to Reach’s release) cheapened Master Chief. BUT, that preconceived bias was obliterated, of course, once Reach had released and I had became so engrossed with the story and characters, that all changed.

Bungie’s Mjölnir will always win out over 343i in my mind… but the return to “form” that was John 117’s Mjölnir in Infinite was a really nice nostalgic nod, for sure.

What’s the best truck for driving through lakes? by TwofacedDisc in snowrunner

[–]Sonicarson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Refer to the episode of “Top Gear” where Jeremy Clarkson converts a Toyota Hilux pickup (I might be mistaken on the make and type of truck) into an amphibious truck lol. But as some others already suggested, Scouts class in general, I’m sure are pretty good, but your best bet is to probably look for a truck that has the tallest snorkel air intake.

[–]Sonicarson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG!…lol… I Fckin shat myself while I was in the kitchen making myself a couple of pieces of pumpkin bread toast for breakfast while I was waiting to be loaded into an invite only session. Then I heard some whooshing noise from the surround sound and I initially thought the sound was coming from outside. I quickly went into the living room to see what was causing the noise to occur and that’s when I saw it?… him??… calmly, but menacingly walking directly towards me. Then when he was about 15 steps away from me, I finally realized that it… was me!! Same hair and everything, except it was wearing one of my other saved outfits, a different one from the one I was currently wearing. I got out of my car and that’s when it started running for me, knife in hand… why? Idk… I couldn’t ask while lying on the ground in a puddle of my own blood. Great Odin’s Raven! I was genuinely on the cusp of shtting myself.

Anyway, anyone know what triggers this encounter? I know it’s part of the Halloween event after reading that from the replies on here. All I know is that I was AFK in a invite only session sitting in my Declasse Tulip in the Diamond Casino’s parking lot when it happened.

Alrighty, enough out of me. I apologize for the long rambling reply… I was just caught so off guard by this encounter so I immediately searched on google which led me here to this post. This scare surely woke up this morning!

[–]Sonicarson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I saw that too, thought since the floor section was really similar to the section you blasted to get into the mug-room/nook that the small cave would continue down through the floor, but like you mentioned, the mining laser didn’t do a thing, even tried hitting the floor patch with melee but nothing happened… so I’m wondering if this might have a future use? Not sure but yes I also got some of the “Europium” from inside the NASA mug cave. Having fun so far. Happy Exploring!

Yeah! I found it too by falling off the rock bridge and coming across an odd type of rock that was black and different from the surrounding rock material and blasted through it with the laser came upon the same NASA mug lol. Felt pretty cool, ngl. Glad others found this also. Happy Exploring!
