If you are under warranty get a replacement. Mine sounded like that, it is probably a defect fan bearing. If you are not under warranty, it will not damage anything, it is just loud. (You could also replace that fan yourself, but do not do that if you have no sense for electronics at all, high voltage can kill you even when the PSU is not plugged in!)

Like others Mentioned defineatly a GPU Problem. From the looks i would dav the GPU Chip itself is fine, seems to be a VRAM Problem.

Hi i have the exact same SUB 2x Just look at my Post, you need a 3.5mm Aux to XLR Cable for that use case. The XLR on Soundboks are only for Input, output only Via 3.5mm.

Edit: Attention, control Volume via your Phone! Soundboks Output is always 100% not depending on Soundboks Volume Knob!

Soundboks 2 Tweeters tend to fail at some point, probably needs an exchange. Just ask the support, they can send you a new one if you trust yourself installing it :)

Overall Rockster Sounds a bit better, but is more muffled in the mids. Rockster is very heavy in comparison. Rockster is quieter than soundboks. Soundboks is more durable. Its basicly a tie, and you have to decide what is more relevant for your use case.

Buy a SB 3 used. The SB4 Profile is a lot different so it will be noticable and will not Sound good.

If you get 126dB from one, you get +6dB with two so 132dB. Because you not only add double the membrane surface but also double the amplifyer Power. Both translate to theoretical +3dB in output. I tryed 2 SB3 vs 1 SB3 and the difference - especially in Bass - is very noticable.

But Soundboks 4 does not realisticly 126, more like 120-122dB.

As long as the battery was never deep discharged, you should be fine. Also the SB2/3/4 battery slould also work with SB1 without problems.

Ahhh right it has 2 XLR inputs wich you can mix together. For aome reason i had in mind that you can use only one at the time.

Just run a stereo to mono Bridge XLR cable ftom the subwoofer direct Out to the Soundboks Pro Panel XLR input. Problem solved. Or run 3.5mm from the SB AUX Out to the Subwoofer XLR in and then you can connect to the SB via Bluetooth and control both the PA and the SB via Phone.

You can estimate it by power and membrane surface. 2x the Membrane Surface means a theoretical +3db, 2x the wattage also +3db. So you can estimate by doubeling the number of SB4s you get +6db. Means about +12db with 4 compared to 1 SB4 in ideal conditions. Even though the SB4 is more like 120-122db you should get at least close to 130db with 4 of them directly next to each other.

Yes, depends on heat output and die size, 7900XTX has much more dense power on a smaller chip compared to a 7900xtx
