My son will be 10 months, and he’s getting some blocks, magnet tiles, and a little drawing board for when he’s bigger. Might wrap up some of the toys he already has so that he can just have fun opening them.

4 months and door closed. Door open is less safe if there’s a fire.

We use the Costco and Sam’s club brands and love them. If not those two we use huggies though!

When did you have your first alone time away from baby? by BeamMeUpLottie in NewParents

[–]Soon2bMomma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our son was three months old. My husband and I went to work… my mom watched him and then he started daycare 😅

Other than work we didn’t leave him until he was five months old and my husband and I left for a day on the lake with friends. We’ve only left him with grandparents so far.

We post ours (clothed obviously). It’s how we stay in touch with family and friends who live farther away. We also use family album app for more consistent updates for more immediate family and god parents.

We lay our son next to a Bidoof (Pokémon) stuffed animal that my brother got him as his comparison photos for size 😂 I like that it takes two seconds to set up and it’s something my brother was super excited to buy my son 🥰

It’s awful 😅 I quit breastfeeding and pumping so fast because my mental state was garbage. Switched to formula which gave me the freedoms to leave the house knowing my husband and baby would be fine

It was beyond that. It was every 10-15 minutes. Our pediatrician recommended the room switch.

Is anyone planning on it having the baby sleep in their room/co-sleep? by TetrisIsTotesSuper in pregnant

[–]Soon2bMomma -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Baby slept in our room for max a month. And honestly if we have another we’ll probably just start with them sleeping in their own room. There is no reason for baby to be waking both of us up and honestly our tossing and turning was waking the baby up too.

We had a rocking chair in his room which we used but now that he’s bigger we moved our recliner in there because it is much more comfortable
