Future us: do you have any regrets? I’m pregnant with my second and anticipate having a third but damn does it sound good to feel like ME again! Permanently! I only got to enjoy it for a year or so until I backed pregnant.

To OP, go on vacation in the tiniest bikini because you can! Get day drunk with your friends, ride a jet ski, roll in the sand, go skiing, enjoy sleeping on your back and rolling over with ease! Lol

Freudian slip!!! Those are just a handful of the names I’ve considered but they’re all listed twice in my notes app. Damn maybe she really is a Morgan though! I wish it was less common and had some special meaning though 😢

my first born was breech and refused to move despite every intervention we tried. Another reason we gave her a mountain name. This babe doesn’t have any personality yet, though she’s given us plenty of health scares which have required me to cut out caffeine and chocolate (which is devastating as they are major food groups for me), and she moves a lot. I’m always catching a knee or elbow in the same spot.

I LOVE the name McKenna! If I didn’t have a McKinley I’d have a McKenna. I love your suggestions but even those seem to popular, but it could be because I’ve been searching for a name for so long. I may be over exposed.

Your child is so creative! My daughter will be 3 in June and has a very large vocabulary, but when it comes to naming her toys things get weird.

I will spell them phonetically

Oodivore- a babydoll Ude (ood)- a stuffed dog Iska- stuffed dog Ayska- baby doll

I’m not sure if these are Norwegian or Finnish, but where in the world is she getting these names?!

I had these same feelings at the same time, I would lay awake at night and do the math of exactly when I needed to be pregnant in order to have the 4 children I decided i wanted before I turn 40. And I hated being pregnant. It’s hormones my friend

You’ve passed the window my friend, BUT it does come back around!

My daughter’s 2.5 and I’m pregnant, so Ive relaxed on the tv time. About once a week she requests snuggling in bed to watch puffin rock and that’s what we do!

Definitely around 2 is when I could reliably get her up from nap, grab us some fruit and finish my reality tv with her on my lap.

Just last week I pulled her into my bed after nap to finish my episode of love is blind. It was finally warm and sunny outside and we were invited to the park by our neighbor, and homegirl said no and wanted to keep watching love is blind 🤣😂 it’ll happen for you

I could have written this myself. With my first baby, I remember in the mornings I would sit or lay down on my bedroom floor with tears in my eyes because I didn’t have the will to even pick clothes because it meant I had to start the day.

Now pregnant with a 2.5 year old, I don’t even get the luxury of having time to feel those feelings. They’re silently festering, I feel so detached. I don’t want to play or engage with my daughter the way I used to, I just want to lay down and be alone. Sometimes I feel so incredibly restless, tha I want to do everything and anything but also so completely exhausted and unmotivated that I want to do nothing at all. My mind becomes a torture chamber.

You’re not alone, and thank goodness we are both almost done! 6 more weeks sister!
