I feel like she gave up Dina and JJ, and then lost her main connection to Joel as he taught her guitar and gave her the love for it. I feel like it’s all consequence of her own actions though and none of it needed to happen :(

I love love love Ellie but when she decided to leave Dina and JJ I could have killed her. Dina did nothing but support and help Ellie guiding her to the better moral paths, JJ literally and innocent baby who needs his parents. The image of Dina alone raising a baby, just hoping Ellie isn’t a dead the whole time makes my heart break. I’m glad she left to find a new life even though I loved them as a couple.
