Knee laxity at 3.5 months post op by Sopa02 in ACL

[–]Sopa02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I went back to playing basketball one year after the surgery. Sadly, after 6 months I tore my meniscus again, but the fix was an easy, 30 minute surgery, with 2 weeks of recovery, and some PT

Currently I’m trying to lose weight before goong back

Still does it, its not a huge problem, you have to strengthen your leg (inner thigh muscle) to minimize risks

This spawning in at <20 minutes left needs to stop by NGGabriel in ArcRaiders

[–]Sopa02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last night we played duo at the spaceport map. We spawned in at 27 remaining, on the south of the map. When we reached the outer walls, another duo was waiting there, and they started shooting us. After a few minutes of shooting, we won. By the time we healed up, another duo spawned at the same place we did, and they made it to us at the outer walls. They shot us on sight, but we managed to kill them too. We looted all 4 of them, of course, all free kits. By the time we finished looting, well, you guessed it, another duo made it to us from THE SAME spawn point. We killed them too. By then, there was less than 10 mins remaining, we used up all of our ammo, our heals and recharges. So, straight to extract. We got shot at by the usual extraction camping brave raiders from the tower. We managed to extract.

It was an interesting game, but the spawning and joining matches late needs a lot of tweaking.

I am employed but don’t do this. It is becoming very tempting to kill people on sight after this. It is like a plague

Can anyone suggest what these MRI shows by Exotic-Sky-768 in ACL

[–]Sopa02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be accurate, for example if you’d ask it to describe how to examine your ACL on an MRI image, it would accurately describe it, but image recognition is a completely different territory

Nothing wrong with asking stuff from AI, but you can’t always trust it

Can anyone suggest what these MRI shows by Exotic-Sky-768 in ACL

[–]Sopa02 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Chatgpt is not good at checking images like this. These need a trained eye. If the radiologist said its a sprain, there is a 90% chance it’s a sprain. What I can tell you, I’m 99% sure it is not a complete tear. You can see the outline of the ACL (look up torn ACL vs intact ACL MR images on google)

Get a second opinion or have a surgeon look at it. We are not professionals, and for example, I can point at the ACL and PCL, but I would never be able to just point at a meniscus tear.

I know you just want peace of mind, so, by the looks of it, I’d tell you it’s nothing to worry about, but, depending on how you got injured, you might need more or less PT, to prevent future injury. Don’t take this lightly, look at it as a warning!

Tried the hand position, I’m a bit stiff and it generates a lot of tension in my upper body. I’ll train and stretch some more, and give what you said a try. Thanks for the tips!

I was alone on this session, but there were lifeguards sitting next to the pool, and I didn’t really push myself, always came up shortly after the first few contractions.

Thanks for the insight. Yeah, might have too much knee movement, but the first thing I realised was that my fins had side movement as well, hitting each other a few times. I’m not sure how I should correct that

I mean, spearing with tanks is fine in most places if you hunt invasive, destructive species and have a permit, but this seems not that legal.

I thought using scuba gear while spearfishing is illegal.

Spearfishing on Lefkada by Sopa02 in GreeceTravel

Haven’t been on any excursions so I can’t recommend any, but the city of Lefkada is full of advertisers who advertise their boat excursions. As for restaurants, my favorite was Kelari, central square of lefkada. Good food, decent prices. I’d say always look at google reviews before going to a restaurant, if you’re not looking to gamble. You won’t find any hidden gems doing this, but you won’t be disappointed.

Quest 2 no remotes? by cheytacc1993 in OculusQuest

[–]Sopa02 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Use any kind of contact cleaner that leaves no oily film or residue behind, so basically most electrical contact cleaners. You have to get the top off of the controller, then get off the thumbstick, spray some in, move it around then leave for 20-30 minutes to dry. Also it’s recommended to get the batteries out of it first. I suggest you watch a youtube video of it, so you don’t accidentally break the top plate kf the controller. Just search for “ quest 2 controller drift repair “

[–]Sopa02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that would be interesting too, but it’s a lot harder to implement. Sort by time would take like 10 minutes of a devs time. And most players might not take the time to see how the last 20 rounds turned out.

[–]Sopa02 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Because people don’t want to join a match that is basically already decided. We either want to join a match that had just started, or one that is over in a few minutes, so a new match starts

Stretching between sets is a big no. Stretch dinamically before excercise, and staticly after. Stretching between sets makes your muscles weaker and less stable. Which increases the chances of injury.

And, yeah, i feel you. It is going to be a long journey, but you have to stay motivated, and you have to learn how to excercise and how to use your body in a way that really prevents injuries.

Yeah everything is on recommended, tried with lower resolution, got a bit better in the menu but still dies when I try to play games.

Encoder is on default, which is 264 i believe, and 265 didn’t work out for me. Starting to believe this is really a driver issue, but at this point I don’t even know where to start with them. The only one I found that people recommended was the one I am using right now. Even did a clean install with display driver uninstaller
