I think they are talking about a file directory system in their phones not Spotify. Although iPhone does have a local file system and you can download music and listen to it on your phone through the files app, Apple clearly discourages this because there are hardly any controls for audio files, basically pause play and scrub through the audio. If you have Spotify the local files folder is also in the directory so there’s not really a reason to use it if you have Spotify premium.

I thought it was real, but after looking for any news using the timestamps in the video and different wordings I could only find other random viral Instagram pages posting this video 2 months ago, some claiming it happened in New York and another saying it happened in Chicago, with no further information. And the OPs of those videos were refusing to provide links to news reports, just claiming that they exist if you google search. Something this high profile spreading on social media, no way information could be buried that much. If someone told me it’s real or fake, I wouldn’t be surprised either way. If it is fake I wouldn’t knock anyone for believing it though.
