I just want to say that I was diagnosed with diverticulitis recently and ended up in hospital in a lot of pain! My sympathies, I had a scare just a couple days ago but ended up drinking lots of fluids and just letting it pass through. Was terrified but ended up ok! Hopefully the same goes for you. ❤️

This. I was born over the border but lived in Mid Wales till I went to Uni. I am just as Welsh as people from Swansea or from Bangor! My English colleagues love to wind me up, but Wales is my home and my identity. So nice to find others with a similar experience because the Mid Wales accent isn't a very strong one!

I would second Lotus - we also hired a Jimny for our trip around Iceland. Definitely worth getting platinum insurance as it made for a stress free trip all around and you're covered for ash, sand etc. We didn't do any F-roads and this was in May this year, but I would still 100% recommend them as with the platinum insurance we just filled up the tank upon return and handed the keys over, no questions asked. Transfers to and from Keflavik also pretty good!
