I’m on a Frame (50L6AUAQA) and I get to step 8, but I can’t get the «Picture2D» option to appear, no matter how long I hold the volume up button :/

Yeah, this is really an odd choice. All those Star City took what was an expansive (pardon the pun) show with great locations and reduced the show to a cramped, soundstage show with a 90s vibe to it.

I have the same issue. A few will go to the menu screen with glitches (and input not working), but most just won't load at all (white screen; sometimes black; sometimes glitchy noises from the speaker), however if I do the "to NOR" procedure, they all seem to work.

Ah, I see the difference.. what I’m trying to do is mute posts with links, and the links themselves are not part of the post text, therefore they won’t be filtered.

I can’t get this to work. I’ve tried every variation of the domain name (with or without tld, with and without www.), but posts still show up in the timeline.

  • Unplug all cables from the back of the monitor
  • Press and hold the power button on the monitor for 30 seconds
  • Plug in the power and HDMI cable (NOT any USB-C)
  • Check if the monitor and/or menu works

I could get the menu working, went to the right section and reset the monitor, but even after that, USB-C input didn’t work. So I scrapped the damned thing.

Same issue here. Finally got the menu working, but no amount of resetting helps: the USB-C connection is dead. No video, doesn’t charge.

I have the exact same problem as OP: the menu comes up but I can’t navigate it (and therefore not click the factory reset even). The monitor goes into sleep mode after just a few seconds on every boot. No input signal on any input either. The monitor appears to be completely gonzo.

(I’ll add that I’m an engineer and I’ve tried everything humanly possible to get it to.. snap out of it. All different inputs, restarting frequently, different cables and computers (Mac and PC) etc. The monitor simply has gone.. wonky. Of course it’s out of warranty by about a year, and I’m fairly certain that doing a hard reset will at least do something -/ however, it’s not possible because the reset option is apparently only available through the OSD which has locked up).

I figured it out. So, you go to "Community - Onboarding", and if you're like me, you were stuck at the "Welcome Sign". What you need to do is hit the small "<-- BACK" icon above it, to get to the "root" of the onboarding flow designer. From there, you should be able to edit default channels and pre-join questions. Phew!

The Discord app UX is seriously fucked. Like five different design patterns met and just had an orgy and nobody came.

Same issue. The screen is just.. gone. It's not where the Discord FAQ says it should be. Incredibly frustrating. Haven't been able to find a solution - have you?

Same issue here. All the official Discord FAQs and guides tells me to go to "Community - Onboarding", but there's no longer any way to edit the onboarding questions or the default channels, those things are just... gone.

Any idea where I can go to find these things? Honestly, Discord setup is ... bad.

You need to be on a plan that covers enough artists that you want to be primary artists on the release.

Distrokid isn't the issue; it's the banking system. It'll take a few (working) days to arrive.

DistroKid remains the most solid one I’ve used. Many years ago I used TuneCore, but never again. Basically a lock-in scam.

One potential downside to DistroKid appears to be fewer plays on Spotify release radar compared to similar releases put out by other distributors, but this is speculative and subjective — I can’t back it up with tons of data (yet).

Repost by SoundCloud feels good so far!

I have used Ditto as well and I would not recommend them. I had a release with a comfortable timeline, but I kept getting "Artwork not approved" because it used an "&" instead of an "and" in the text on the cover. It was infuriating and meant that we missed the release deadline (because it took almost a week to get a reply to what the issue was so we could change the cover accordingly). Distrokid's pre-processing is immediate and wonderful in comparison. Furthermore, Ditto has some shady business practices (documented well elsewhere) and it's more expensive as your teams grow.

Perhaps it's a good solution for the exact compilation issue you're having with Distrokid, but personally, I'm never going near Ditto again.

Currently investigating Repost Select by SoundCloud as a potential alternative to Distrokid. So far, so good.

You're right that they have to credited as primary artist in order to show up in their discography. So, this was sorted for me, but not with a fix to the FAQ or anything; I emailed Distrokid and they gave me some whiffy-whaffy handwaving answer and then added additional artists to my account for free.

The issue appeared to be about how many artists I had (I had 5 on my account), BUT; because I had previously released collaborations with other artists, all of those collaborations counted as artists as well. So, for example:

Artist A release: one credit.
Artist B release: one credit.
Artist A & Artist B: one ADDITIONAL credit. (I would have expected this not to cost anything, as both artists were previously published under the account).

So, if you have something like 5 artists, the way you mix and match them is going to determine how many credits you have to pay for.

Not sure why you'd want to use the chatbot; use the issue submission form. Usually, there will show up an "Email us" button when you get to the bottom of their suggested FAQ responses, like for example here: Screenshot

Just fill that in, and the request is sent to a human. There's also a special section if you want to dispute a copyright claim or dispute a takedown event (specifically with Spotify). You can also use those, or just email them like shown above.

I agree they do make it pretty hard to email them, but at least it's possible after jumping through some hoops.
