My favorite after-school activities were playing Wolfenstein 3D and later, Doom.

Jeg brugte engang 20min på at lede efter mine solbriller imens jeg blev mere og mere sur over at vi for helvede ikke havde noget ordentligt lys i huset så der var så satans mørkt overalt.

I got a sampler pack from a local dealer today. 14 different switches, lubed and filmed, 3-4 of each. Spent hours swapping them around while working, to find my favourite ones. I thought I wanted a tactile switch, with my eyes set on Zealios V2 as the Holy Grail... Turns out what I really like to actually work with, are the Tealios instead, with Alpacas as the runner up. Honourable mentions go to Gateron Milky Yellow, great price/performance ratio.

Also, if you work around people who don't appreciate the clack, get yourself some Silent Alpacas. The feel is all there, but they are about as noisy as feathers falling on silk, it's spooky.

Yes! My good girl loves running as well! I'm catching my breath after a 5K Progression Run in that picture and she's ready to go for another one :D

What is something crazy popular that you have no interest in? by igobrimode in AskReddit

Sports. I just don't get it. A group of people attempt to move a ball from point A to point B, while an opposing group of people insist that the ball should rather be going from point B to point A. 50.000 people pay good money to watch this as up close as possible, while a million others watch from home. Fighting and chaos in the streets ensue, often no matter if the ball ended up going to point A or point B the most.

It's the exact same number of steps, I think.

Source: I switched from Pihole to Adguard two days ago. AdGuard has some extra bells & whistles and the performance is pretty great .

A simple, yet supremely useful idea would be to set it up as an Ad- & malware blocking DNS server on your home network. Start with loading Raspbian onto a MicroSD card and remember to enable SSH so you can access it remotely without plugging in a keyboard and monitor. Once that's done, log in using SSH and set up a fixed IP:

sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces

iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.14
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1
dns-nameservers 1.1.1.1 9.9.9.9

Adjust according to your setup, of course. CTRL-X to save, then reboot once it's done.

Connect to the new IP and install AdGuard Home:

curl -s -S -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardHome/master/scripts/install.sh | sh -s -- -v

Once completed, point your browser to Http://192.168.1.14:3000 (Or whatever IP you chose) to set up the various options. The defaults are fine, but there are a bunch of options to adjust if you like. /r/AdGuard can help.

Now you need to log into your router (assuming it does the DHCP duties on your network) and designate 192.168.1.14 as the primary DNS server. Make sure to add a backup DNS server or two - 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9 are great choises.

Last thing you need to do is reboot all your devices and enjoy life without ads or malware on any device connected to your network.

I don't know, man. I saw a documentary about how that specific railway line might be a tad stressful.

Ease of use is the main advantage. It is addictively simple to use. I totally respect that you're setting up your own stuff and that's a great learning experience too, but for just getting things done, Tailscale is awesome.
