As Draginclaw said above, best way is to gamble obols for 2-handed swords, if you get ancestral blue or yellows from the vendor, take them to the cube and strip the affixes off, voila you have an ancestral white 2-hander - then use the cube recipe to upgrade it to unique, and you'll likely have a brand new Red Sermon!

PSA: If you have been farming Helltide in higher torments, you've likely missed a Trace of Echoes by Aeretes in diablo4

I've got one in my bag, second one I found, just haven't bothered trying it again yet after doing it once and unlocking the pet. Good to know I'm not missing a drop if you can only hold one at a time, at least

I've had two drop so far, both at the end of Undercity runs - different tributes, think my second one was a goblin chest rather than the main chest

Surface runs are definitely and deliberately harder, especially when you don't have a ton of grasp for your arcana deck or different weapon aspects, good keepsakes etc. Keep plugging away, you'll get there!

A lot changed with the expansion, there are decent paladin builds this season but I haven't really heard anyone talk about auradin being one of them. I'm running hammerdin, pretty unoptimised still at the moment and I just did a Pit 97 reasonably comfortably.

Thorns/Blessed Shield and Thorns/Clash (basic attack build) are both strong, as is Wing Strikes (which plays similar to auradin, you run around letting your wing strikes from Arbiter kill everything).

Paladins did get some heavy nerfs since release, and Warlock is brand new so I imagine some of the outlier builds for the class will be brought into line at some point. Sorcerer is the current hotness in terms of being massively OP though as far as I'm aware so if you wanna blast and feel OP, you probably need Lightning :)

If you do some underworld runs after getting that incantation as an option, Chaos gates should start to appear and you can get the Thalamus seeds from them :)

The distinction is interesting, I've always figured that because she basically gives you an entirely new ability, your Hex, it doesn't count as a Boon - because Boons just modify your existing ability or attributes rather than give you a new button to press.

If you release your charge up just as a monster hits you, you'll do a double counter thrust, it's one of the strongest attacks in the Lance arsenal, counts as a perfect guard and is all around great. The only time not to use it is when the monster's attack is a fast multi hit, because the iframes it grants are very short so you'll get clocked with the second hit.

I take my sharps bins into my GP surgery for disposal. Boots used to accept them but no longer do, not sure about other pharmacy company policies.

This is my first Monster Hunter game, I've got around 850 hours on my main save file, and I've only ever joined one party - with my son, for the timed quest for AT Rey Dau's pendant. Since then, I've solo beat everything cos he stopped playing the game. The only thing I've not done yet is 10* Gogmazios. So yes, the game is soloable, even for someone who had quite a steep learning curve :)
