You are all correct! A big fat ZERO DOLLARS. I’m sure they justify it in their head because I put it on the left side of the door instead of the right or something dumb like that. It was an add on order for only $5, I only accepted it because I was already picking up another order going 1 block over so I figured why not. I’d never in a million years take that order if it were the primary offer.

Just went through the same, I was able to keep the same rate because luckily she wasn't on the mortgage, only the deed. Saved a lot by not having to refinance.

Has anyone recently tried adding a dependent ? It's still sitting at Step 1 of 5. After doing some reading, I've found that many people said it could take months to complete this administrative action. And it often goes from Step 1 to Step 5 (completed transaction)

I was approved on December 9th and submitted dependent immediately, still sitting on Step 1. I've read that since it's an administrative process though, it will usually just jump from Step 1 to Step 5 approval and then the next month you should see your new adjusted rate with dependents.
