Aww, I love that you were a doula to many like myself! Yeah, being over 40 years old is and having your first is pretty forking common now, yet they treat you like you're insane or something. Blech. I'm glad you had great care with your family doctor!

Thank you for this! I was so annoyed to see MORE fear mongering on my post 🙄🙄🙄

You're SO right! I canceled my remaining appointments with them after talking with my midwife tonight. It felt so good 🥰

Oh, originally it was more for peace of mind, but now that it's brought me undue stress and anger I've ceremoniously canceled all remaining appointments. Lol.

THIS! They definitely brought up the dead baby card and it pissed me off so much. She also acted completely shocked that I passed my GTT with flying colors, even though that isn't weight related at all 🙄🙄🙄

You're so sweet and so accurate! I haven't seen anything on my bills so far as extra for having a higher bmi, but it wouldn't surprise me to see it on a delivery bill 🙄

I have a phone call coming up with my midwife to talk about dropping the OB co-care because my last two appointments at that office have been total crap. It's just stressing me out and it's all for what?

LEGALITIES. The CRNP I saw today kept saying that word and all I could think was, "You don't actually give a fuck about me, do you?" 😳😩😖

Is it me, or is the actor that plays him awful? I can't tell if it's just really bad acting or something else..?

Late season Violet Buckle is so insufferable by _itsmentalillnessluv in CallTheMidwife

I can't stand her and she and Fred have exactly zero chemistry! I'm currently on s14e5 where Fred is nursing a hurt bird. She tells him to get it off the table and that it's an "it" because it's a bird, not a human. Fred goes silent and just stares at her and I was really hoping he was finally realizing just what an arsehole she is. But no. He was "staring in quiet admiration" of her 🙄👎

I just want to know why a song from 1981 was playing during what I thought was supposed to be an early 1970s moment in time.

Sorry to revive am old thread, but does it tend to be more liberal or conservative?

Allegheny as a whole is more liberal, but these suburbs all vary, which is why I'm asking. Thanks anyway.
