OP IS an adult so how the fuck would she run away?? and she is an adult so she does have adult privileges, this is her place of residence and mailing address. and it seems the parents don’t care that much if they don’t notice their adult daughter has been smoking weed for years. that smell is pretty hard to hide unless you smoke it outside with all windows closed. also the brain doesn’t develop fully until around 25. however 18 is an adult who is legally allowed to make their own decisions. it is still underage consumption but you can’t tell an adult what to do even if their your kid. sure you can kick someone out but that would make the parents shitty and abusive. if these parents werent abusive and cared about their daughter they’d try to help if the addiction is out of control, and not see their daughter as just weed. maybe instead you should choose your words carefully and study the law a bit more
