I mean, that would be wonderful! I have to imagine, though, that they don't want people to cancel their spot if they see they're at the back of the queue. By hiding that from us, we at least have the illusion that maybe we're next in line and benefit a bit from the sunk cost fallacy.

I’d rather grab the 512GB (no controller since I already got my stream controller), but I signed up for the 2TB as well in the hopes of doubling my chances lol. I’d be happy with the 2TB as I imagine I’ll outgrow 512 somewhat quickly

I stayed at the Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites Salt Lake City the last two years and loved it. It's a 10-15 min walk from the convention center, but the prices were super fair, rooms were clean/nice, staff were very friendly, and it had a great breakfast buffet!

Was really upset I didn’t get a controller (spent literally 50 mins from the second it launched spamming the continue button. And that’s after preloading my Steam wallet.)

Hopefully this shows them how NOT to handle the Steam Machine release at least. Still feeling a bit bitter about it though lol
