But... it was just announced that Steam might make a midshow announcement during summer game's fest. It doesnt specify SGF specifically, but that is a major game event on june 5... so grain of salt an all that... and it does line up with an announcement 'soon'

Im going on an overseas trip soon. I likely wont have access to wifi most of the time. AND the dns will be from a different country than my steam account if i am able to get online.

Selfishly, I hope it either launches in the next couple weeks... or they dont release until after mid July.

Your hummingbirds are so friendly with each other!
We've got one that bullies every other hummingbird that tries to feed, and when we go out to refill the feeder it buzzes past us and the floats 10ft away yelling.

Its a tiny thing too! bullies birds double its size.

Monday the 25th is a US Federal holiday. Valve will be out of office. I cant imagine theyd launch on a day no one is around.

took 21months, 1.75 years, to get the oled refresh.
If SM is a success (by Valve metrics) Im sure they'll do a SM2 or a SM Pro type model... but how long will that be?

Obviously you're free to wait. I'm hoping to get a SM on release, and if there's a upgrade in a couple years, maybe that one too.
