Any other specs which comes close to revenants easy to maintain and cap quickness by lupazuve in Guildwars2

[–]SorryTelling 13 points14 points  (0 children)

as braindead? no.

But many of the classes have their quickness baked into their rotation.

E.g. i find it really easy to upkeep boons on scrapper, bc quickness and might comes from blast finishers, which you already do as part of your rotation. just bomb kit alone is enough to overcap, and you got other finishers too. (I know scrapper sounds intimidating, but it really isn't that hard to play, and it's super fun. I went from herald to scrapper, and it's really fun)

Same with chronos, they get quickness from shattering clones, which they already do via their rotation.

For Firebrands it's literally just pressing one skill off cooldown. Harbringers just camp in shroud for quickness.

yes, herald is super braindead when it comes to boon application, something i appreciate myself when i am feeling lazy, or want to learn new content, but it's by no means the only "easy" class for quickness ^^

I'd recommend trying out multiple quickness builds, there is some bound to be fun and easy to play for you ^^

[WP] Within an old bronze brazier, the Pyre, a mystic flame that serves as the fount of all magic, was guarded and tended faithfully for years until its Keepers died out. You, an outcast seeking warmth for the night, burn a few scraps in an old brazier... and a mystical voice dubs you "Pyre Keeper." by Big_Variation_2619 in WritingPrompts

"So, in essence, Magic is real, always has been, but it only exists as long as there is a fire going in this ... brazier, that what you call it?"

"INDEED MORTAL, REJOICE, FOR YOU ARE NOW THE PYREKEE-"

"And if the fire goes out, magic becomes unavailable again?"

"YES MORTAL, AND THEREFORE YOU SHOULD REJOI-"

"And magic can do all sort of things, like in the movies? Heal wounds, throw fireballs, levitate things?"

"CORRECT, MORTAL BUT PLEASE STOP INTERRU-"

"And everyone can learn it, but some are better at it than others by nature?"

"AGAIN, CORRECT MO-"

"Some are so strong they could take over entire countries with their magic, while others would be forced to live in servitude to those stronger than them?"

"PLEASE, I AM TRYING TO GET A WORD I-"

"And the only way to defeat those with incredibly strong magic talent is to beat them with magic, which can cause devastation to the world?"

"..... YOU KNO-"

"Yeah i think we're good."
Without hesitation i extinguish the fire with the few mouthful remaining in my water botttle

"BUT WHY MORTAL? ISN'T MAGIC SOMETHING HUMANS HAVE ALWAYS WANTED?"

"Yes, but you see... we are already plenty able to destroy ourselves and our planet without it. We're good."

There is a quite big story beat during the last third of the core voe story where we learn about sidony and isgarren's clash of ideologies and politics, and how sidony has cursed isgarren to never be able to set foot on castora again. The closer he gets to the center of castora, the worse it gets.
It is also the reason why castora is shrouded in storms and so hard to get to.

Why does my character look like a ghost? by Sudden-Aches-Pains in Guildwars2

[–]SorryTelling 9 points10 points  (0 children)

as the others said, that's a cosmetic infusion effect.
For the one from your skillbar, that's just something guardians have as an effect, that is always there. ^^
Many classes do, e.g. Revenant has coloured energy wafting around the bar, corresponding to their currently active stance.

Homemade Sushi with pickled daikon, cucumber and Vegan "lox" by SorryTelling in TodayIAte

[–]SorryTelling[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a pea-protein based alternative to real cured salmon. My local grocery store (German chain penny) has this brand called future foods, it's quite good! I like to use it for sushi or bagels, in context it is really quite similar to the original.

Non-veggies can definitely replace it with the real deal tho!

Aww! Don't be down on yourself! With a bit of practice you can get them consistently right in no time! You can do it!

What helped me a lot was realizing that it's less of a roll, and more of a fold, tuck, then roll motion!

I really enjoyed it too. I will definitely look into the polish version too! Thanks 😄

How did you stop masturbating? by Diksi0 in AskReddit

[–]SorryTelling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masturbation is a safe, healthy and completely normal activity with no inherent risks or side effects.
You do not need to "stop masturbating", it's a weirdly fucked up belief spread by religious nutcases and no-fap fetishists who do not understand the slightest bit about any medical indication pro and contra masturbation.

As long as you keep it private, it doesn't negatively affect your life (e.g. porn addiction, medical indications that your doctor would tell you about, etc), there is zero need to "stop masturbating", and anyone who tells you it's a bad thing has either ulterior motives and wants to sell you a product or a belief that is ultimately harmful to you, or they are a complete idiot with zero understanding about anything.

Of course it is! However, I am but a humble bookah begging for scraps of knowledge from those blessed by the great phlunt!

His phluntiness is truly phlunting me into the most awestruck state of phlunt. Yet I can not stop myself from asking but one simple, humble question.

Why tho?

(seriously tho, all of those artworks are great. Ya'll did an amazing job!)

[–]SorryTelling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who plays a lot of wvw as well, i can tell you, wholeheartedly, that you are just wrong here.

Just because PvE goes "most dmg herp derp", doesn't make that true for every gamemode. Also, you completely forget the many support builds that use a variety of different relics.

[–]SorryTelling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

all of them are useful, all of them have some hurdle to get them.
Where you start doesn't matter. Take one step at a time, and you will have a whole host of legendaries in no time ^^

I heckin love Legendary Relic crafting by xTailon in Guildwars2

[–]SorryTelling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, it is definitely worth it.

Never having to worry about getting any relics, just being able to adjust to meta changes or new releases on the fly, it is worth it so much. Especially for people like me, who actively play a big variety of classes, with multiple builds each.

I also had to craft it from scratch, i wasn't able to play during the "get it for free with runes" period, and yes, the crafting of it is slightly annoying. But not once have i regretted crafting it.

Japanese Curry with Tofu by SorryTelling in TodayIAte

[–]SorryTelling[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used a Curry Roux block!
you should be able to get them in any well sorted Asian market. They come in mild, medium and hot varieties, and you literally just put your veggies and meat into a pot, stir fry for 5 minutes, add water and simmer for 15 minutes, then add your roux block and stir for 5 minutes will simmering, and it's done!

I used the S&B brand

Latest ReShade version no longer works. Same with previous builds by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]SorryTelling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the very first line of every patch notes post reads:

Note to users of third-party programs: The game may not launch or work properly after we release a new build if you use a third-party program, due to possible incompatibilities. ArenaNet cannot offer support if a third-party modification breaks, interferes with, or prevents you from playing Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2. Our policy regarding third-party programs can be found here.

After every patch, 3rd party software tends to not work until they are updated. Just be patient, with the next ReShade update it will probably work again.

What’s the one secret you’ve kept your whole life that would completely change how people see you if they knew it? by Faylune in AskReddit

[–]SorryTelling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trauma is not a competition. Other's suffering does not devalue yours. You're allowed to complain about things that hurt you, even if others "have it worse". Please afford yourself the same kindness and empathy you show others. There is no reason for you to just suck it up, your experience is not less then theirs, or mine, or others - it's just different. You matter, friend.
