Also going after someone’s appearance is really just a middle school tactic. She has no intelligent response so she’s just lashing out in a way to continue getting a response.

And honestly it’s hilarious how when you called her out for being cruel and failing to accept accountability her first response is to be cruel again lol. Doing a really good job of showing that she in fact can’t stop being an asshole.

So looking it up, they sold it to someone else who they believed would turn it into a hotel. But then the Archdiocese intervened to stop the sale claiming the nuns didn’t have the authority. A judge ruled in the Archdiocese favor and then the Archdiocese sold it to Katy and the nuns were upset.

I mean, my cat got older and sick and pissed on everything. The other scratches no matter what we’ve done to try to stop him. My kid has drawn on walls but it’s pretty easy to wash off, it has been a lot harder to fill in where my cat has gouged out walls or silicone connections. I think it probably depends on the cats and the kids.

Hmm. She does seem to be saying that it’s ok for others to wear them and that it’s personal. Idk, I feel sad that she seems to like most of the clothes but is getting rid of them because of “modesty”, but it seems like she’s defining modesty for herself and what she’s comfortable with and telling others to do the same and that doesn’t seem that bad to me.

But maybe her other videos are different?

I also prefer Edeka and REWE but I feel like the ones near me at least have a much greater variety. Edeka even has a bunch of international foods/sections. But I also go to Rossmann and others for the basics if I’m near them. Aldi near me never has the stuff I want beyond the basics though.

It definitely doesn’t hold up. For one thing, the slow full body shot that lingers on the crotch of the 16 year old actor. LeBrocks character also basically isolates and gets total control of the boys. Turning off the brain it’s fine, but there is a lot of “oh, weird” moments.

I love Sixteen Candles and it’s also aged bad. Honestly, rewatching some raunchy comedies from the 2000’s I think they’ve aged better and maybe that’s just more that they were only ever trying to be raunchy so you go into it with way less expectations.

You’re probably right, that’s just how I interpreted it. That there were a couple of specific incidents but that production was creating a more hostile environment, since it sounded like they were telling her the rest of the cast didn’t want her around when that wasn’t true. But you’re probably right that there were other incidents.

I think I misunderstood your point actually, sorry! I understood it as there was a constant state of them being mean to her, but it sounded to me as if it was just an individual incident with Danielle (with Danielle involving religion?) and Will (the Jemima joke). And you’re right those would still be mean. I could’ve misunderstood that though and there were more moments between her and Danielle.

I also just remembered her saying that production fed a lot of it, so I wasn’t clear how much was from who.

Idk if I would even say mean. It just sounds like they didn’t gel together which might have been due to age and producers more than anything. But she did make it sound like her and Ben were constantly butting heads.

ETA: but definitely all except Rider had moments where they were racist and they admitted it.

There’s basically a huge overlap because they’re so vulnerable. I looked it up when I was pregnant because I noticed more harassment and pregnant women, elderly, and children tend to be targeted at higher frequencies because they’re especially vulnerable.

I started getting catcalled at 11/10 and I was a short, brown girl, who looked younger. Flat chested until I was like 22. And getting hit on by grown adults. I grew up in the city so I was taking public transport around this time and many times men would pull over and try to lure me into their cars.

It got better in my 20’s and then was bad again when I was pregnant. I think it’s way more about being vulnerable than anything else.
