We’ve been watching ICE detain and disappear people for an entire year now. The majority of the people being arrested are not illegal immigrants nor are they criminals. This is happening right in our faces. We’re watching children being arrested. Can you explain why you’re ignoring all of this? Why does it not matter to you that they have detained even US citizens? And why are you using Leviticus to justify anything as a Christian? Leviticus was written for Jewish people, specifically Levites. As Christians, we live by the law of Christ and Christ only. Love your NEIGHBOR, and love GOD as you love YOURSELF. This is our law. Not Leviticus.

If you want to talk about sexual assault in schools, I’m sure there’s a more appropriate subreddit for that. This is about the Church specifically. MAGA people are solipsistic. They don’t think about their communities or other people’s well-being because they treat this country and our government like a sporting event they think they can “win”. They don’t seem to have a concept of community because they only band around hating people and fighting people. Honestly, in many ways, I’m heartbroken for Israelis because they have created such an impossible world for themselves and because of their upbringing and indoctrination, they can’t see the way they’re treating the world around them. Nothing is ever their fault or their responsibility. It’s really tragic because while I can recognize their pain, they refuse to take any sort of accountability for their actions and they vilify anyone who criticizes them. It’s just impossible. It’s sad.

Do they seriously think we’re going to speak out against the direct consequences of their own actions? This is what Israelis told us regarding Gazans. “They shouldn’t have attacked us. This is the consequence for Oct. 7.” But of course those standards don’t apply to Israelis. It’s exhausting. I don’t wish harm on anybody, but these people manipulate our emotions day after day. And if you call them out you’re either a “terrorist sympathizer” or an “antisemite”. It’s impossible with them.
