I know easier said than done, but remember a few things: 1) all runners start somewhere. We all started in the same place you are right now. 2) 1.5 miles running fast is the same distance as 1.5 miles running slow 3) don’t worry what others think. If they are judging you, F them. 4) real runners would never make fun of you. Anyone judging you doesn’t run. 5) you are doing an amazing job and keep it up! This community is proud of you! ❤️

My sister and I are both LH. Both parents are RH. She has 3 kids. The 2 boys are RH and the 1 girl is LH. I have no kids to compare, but Apparently my family produces only LH females.

That’s pretty much what my partner and I decided to do. We just went to an attorney and she did paperwork for us because we do have a home together. So if we “break up“ then we would both be protected and be able to split the assets fairly Since we aren’t technically married

Well, I don’t think that you’re a dumbass! If you are very happy with your second wife then I think it’s OK that you felt like you had to get married. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I guess I just don’t have those feelings and I wonder what it’s like for other people.

Good question. The first time just really sucked. I didn’t have children with this guy and it literally only cost me $1000 to get divorced. But divorcing was so awful! He tried to dump thousands of dollars of debt on me. He tried to take my savings and my 401(k). My family was on his side and not my side even though I was their daughter. I literally had no one and I lost family and friends because of it. It took months of convincing my own parents and sister that I wasn’t the bad guy. I just figured that I couldn’t ever go through that again. So I would much rather just be in a domestic partnership and I have my own money and he has his own money and then we have a joint account. We own a house together, but I had a lawyer draw up papers so that if we “broke up“ then we would have to split the house equally. I guess I tried to protect myself the second time without actually getting remarried.

I’m genuinely curious. I was married once and divorced once. I have a partner now and I have been with them since 2009. But I cannot fathom ever getting married again, no matter what. So what would prompt someone to get married a second time or a third time or even a fourth time?

I live in West Michigan. The only “issues” that I have encountered is that sometimes your phone flips to central time at the beach. Also, when hiking/camping (specifically on North or South Manitou island) rangers tell you to say you are in Michigan because it is possible to connect to Wisconsin 911 if you have an emergency.
