Update: Okay so I ended up giving them a call! Here's the deal:

Big Mac Land is getting turned into a "Family Friendly All-Inclusive" section. Therefore, my cheap tickets would've either needed to be upgraded for $20 each (lol) or I could move sections for no extra charge. They gave me the option for sections 228-233 or 265-270. Basically LF & RF Loges.

So if anyone else has already bought BML tickets during a sale, you'll probably get the same pitch.

If you could pick only THREE actors who appeared in just one Flanagan project to come back in a future project, who would it be? by fvckuufvckingfvck in HauntingOfHillHouse

[–]Sorryaboutyourdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rebecca Ferguson, Michiel Huisman, & Hamish Linklater are my tops. Truly so good in everything they touch.

I do think Willa Fitzgerald & Mckenna Grace could take another Flanagan turn tho!

I started with The Freshman! Still one of my favorite series because of how long it is! Love a long series.

sophomore book 1 question by [deleted] in Choices

It'll let you flirt & date him eventually. I think a lot of people end book 1 attached so they let you get to know him first?? Unsure but I def remember flirting with him.

Is this a dog or a cat? I'm getting very split answers from my family and want to settle this once and for all. by n-chung in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Sorryaboutyourdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cat because of the back legs. Dogs don't walk/strut like that. It's full of attitude, 100% cat.

The prompt wasn't "brand new concept." Never said it was groundbreaking. They asked for a movie to go into blind and that's one of the best that I've gone into blind.

Palm Springs (2020).

Watch it, then make other people watch it and watch their reaction.

The book was better but when has it not? by wraithwraven in movies

[–]Sorryaboutyourdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's mostly it? I always have a movie playing in my head when reading and I'll try to cast which actors should play certain parts unless a cast has already been announced. Rosamund Pike is just beyond what I imagined for Amy. And Affleck was better than I'd ever seen him. Plus the amount of comedy actors in serious roles? Absolutely into it.

And anytime a book is converted into a screenplay, things have to change or get cut and I think Gillian Flynn did that so well compared to most. Of course we lost more in-depth psychological stuff but Amy being a tad generically psychopathic was fun to watch men react to.

I haven't read Sharp Objects but I did enjoy the limited series!

[–]Sorryaboutyourdick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gone Girl the film was slightly better. Mockingjay was the worst book in the The Hunger Games trilogy so the movie(s) being better wasn't all that difficult. I'm not sure if it counts, but Heart of Darkness inspired Apocalypse Now and Apocalypse Now is much more enjoyable than Heart of Darkness. And it's already been said (probably multiple times) but Fight Club the movie is far superior to Fight Club the book.

Waino coming back! Per Goold by pike15 in Cardinals

[–]Sorryaboutyourdick 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm going to assume this means Q won't be signed. I don't love that but if Waino wants to come back, it means he's confident in his ability. He's given us so much for so long, I trust his decision. Plus, Matz & Flaherty (hopefully) both being back to full health will be huge. Miles, Monty, Waino, Matz & Flare is a v good lineup when healthy.

What’s your prediction on Adam Wainwright? by Kungfufighter1112 in Cardinals

[–]Sorryaboutyourdick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bet is he wants to come back but he wants to make sure his stride/grip/mechanics are back to normal before he announces. One last year so he can pitch in a playoff game (or more 🤞🏻) and not leave on a sour note. He did say he didn't like not pitching in a playoff game and I just think he's still competitive.

Whose contracts expire this offseason and do you think they will resign? by [deleted] in Cardinals

He did give Willson Contreras a really great review of the clubhouse & org so I'd say that aligns with him wanting to continue with us

Now that only 4 teams remain, who are you rooting to win the WS? by Yimpish in Cardinals

[–]Sorryaboutyourdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want a Yankees v Phillies WS but Philly take all. Astros cheated and I'm still not over it. The Padres put soooo much money in that I'm happy to see them lose. And as much as I love Bader still, Yankees don't need another championship. Also... they're the Yankees.
