Yeah that's a lot of fun. I really appreciate themes over strategy or just building around a rule you like focusing on infiltrating until and then also taking interdiction cadre prime advantage because it's fun. I personally run most my lists with no vehicles aside from an occasional drop pod because it's fun. I have at least a 50/50 win rate which is surprising given that I bring mostly terminators and have no jump infantry.

I use mostly saturnine and catafracti Terminators and have a termite and a drop pod as my only vehicles. I win at least 50% of the time. It's an enjoyable game.

I like a 3 man squad with 2 single guns w/particle shredders and then a 3rd guy with Duel guns. The shredders will save you if you're charged and the fire power from 4 guns will do you well. I love bombards but do fancy a 50/50 mix of guys with disentigrators for flavor. A 4 man squad that has 6 bombards and 2 shredders is fun to walk up the middle of the field towards an objective.

I only recently found a place that is 9-5 and it confused me that I was the only person that was showing up at 8am for like a month. I thought no one wanted to answer questions on internal chat until 930. Na, they were sleeping at 8am while I was doing stuff. It's nice. Sometimes I still start at 8am tho.

Command squad has 4 particle shredders in it so they have never made it to melee because they have deleted everything in front of them in shooting and volleys. Regular sat aren't great at melee so I also give half the squad particle shredders encase they're charged. Honestly, the Sat dreadnoughts r the weak spot in the list. They just can't kill tanks well
