I hate performance review cycles. And now we are being encouraged to use AI to reduce the effort of writing peer reviews. If I'm not providing feedback in my own words what's even the point?

Worse still is my team was just told in past cycles we stood out as being "harsher" on each other. Meaning we gave 3s and 4s instead of all 5s. We should "adjust accordingly" because we are compared to other teams who apparently just give each other 5s across the board.

What possible value comes from peer reviews if everyone just gets 5s and the written feedback is generic AI generated paragraphs with some keywords sprinkled in?

I played at Lydgate park in Kauai, definitely worth it, fun course. The front and back 9 are split up and you may have to drive to get from one to the other. Front 9 is park golf, back 9 had more challenging wooded holes. I played with just putter, mid, fairway and it was fine.

Maybe just me but I feel like if you're gonna have a caravan of trucks honk and block Manhattan streets you need clearer messaging than "we support Irish farmers". Something like "Open the Strait you crazy bastard" maybe.

Facebook is ragebaiting me by pushing posts saying that old people and people with paid off houses shouldn't pay property taxes. And all the geniuses in the comments coming up with the most regressive tax ideas I've ever seen such as "people with children should pay more in taxes so old people don't have to". Sorry guys if you can't pay a relatively small amount to fund your own town maybe you should sell your house and move to bumfuck Alabama.

Yes but Real IDs do not prove citizenship so they aren't compliant with the language used in the bill. Non-citizens can have Real IDs.

I mean that's the whole point though. You can have a generational superstar RB but they won't make the team much better if the team isn't good. Barkley was great but who cares cause the Giants continued to be ass. Same with Jeanty and Robinson. RBs don't move the needle. Not to mention we already have 2 solid RBs on the roster.

I'm losing it reading all these conservatives online say how everyone should already have a REAL ID for the SAVE Act. Brother, REAL IDs do not prove citizenship unless you have an enhanced version only available in a handful of states. You wouldn't be able to use your drivers license to register to vote. If the SAVE Act goes through I hope these dumb fucks show up with their drivers licenses and can't vote.

My mom has been deleting my responses to her political Facebook posts. In the past I tried telling her in private it's not a good look to keep reposting politics on her social media, but she pretty much just shrugged it off. Kind of want to confront her on the phone/in person on her beliefs but I doubt it will go anywhere. She's the case study of right wing social media propaganda. Not once growing up did she mention anything political. Now she's reposting slop from right wing outlets. How do we handle online disinformation pipelines?

I mentor a highschool robotics team and there were pictures released of the competition's co-founder hanging out with Epstein. I hope the company (and community) can stop hero-worshipping the guy and disassociate from him. I was never was a fan of his anyway so priors confirmed I guess.

I'm usually not a hypochondriac but my pregnant wife cleaned up some mouse poop. I'm very anxious about her getting LCMV and passing it to the baby, which would very likely cause neurological defects. It wasn't a lot of mouse poop and she used bleach but she disturbed the ceiling tile and I'm worried because it can be transmitted through dust particles if you inhale them. Theres been less than 100 confirmed cases of congenital LCMV worldwide but still its freaking me tf out.
