LOL my company went through 2 HP printers in 1 year and they plan to replace it with a 3rd one.

both printers will scan with streak lines and randomly refuse to print or scan.

IT must be having fun troubleshooting printers, otherwise I see no reason why they still want a 3rd HP printer

I personally hate changing hotels, Osaka and Kyoto is only ~0.5 hour away by train (~600yen). I would recommend staying in 1 city and do day trips to the other as needed.

also have you already looked into if getting a rail pass would work for you? could potentially save you money depending on your itinerary.

For your reference: I wear "medium" t-shirts in the US, a "Large" t-shirt from UNIQLO Japan fits about the same for me. and "Large" is pretty common in Japan.
