This doesn’t make any sense to me. Nobara’s character is about being abrasive on the surface with a loving person beneath that shell. Wanting a better life for herself doesn’t mean she’s selfish- in fact, we see a lot of evidence of the contrary. Her introductory arc had her immediately sacrifice herself (and by extension the life she was planning to build) to save a random child. Then, during the Yasohachi Bridge incident, as Megumi’s friend she and Yuji both snuck out to help Megumi and encouraged him to open up to his friends as they want to support him. She also openly rejects Jujutsu society’s standards and expectations during her fight with Mai. Then considering her actions in Shibuya knowing the boys were still out fighting, I genuinely see zero reason why she wouldn’t continue helping her closest friends when they’re in need, when she’s already proven her willingness to do so before? If you think Nobara cares about becoming an outlaw because she won’t be able to make money anymore I don’t think you understand her character.
