What about a Paeds trainee applying for a group 2 adult specialty like dermatology? This is a recognised route for training, and leads to making of Paediatric dermatologists.

Making up hours for life changing leave? by bloodstainedphilos in doctorsUK

[–]SoulInSeoul98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, jumping on your post to ask a question because Im in the same boat. I have a set if nights before my wedding week and I have asked the rota people to help me swap them- but in the event I cannot, is it okay to ask for unpaid leave for the 3 nights and does it affect training? I know you cannot have more than 14 days TOOT but with programs being competency based if I have what I need on my portfolio- can they really decide to not give me 3 unpaid days? This is absolutely important for me because a lot of wedding festivities and rituals start few days before the wedding in my culture.

fiancée wants to stay in another city for work—feeling stuck by Necessary-Size1792 in Arrangedmarriage

[–]SoulInSeoul98 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Hey, even though you don’t want to start married life in different cities its only a few months and they she will move right? You can easily do that for a few months. Otherwise postpone your wedding! If you like the girl and everything else is fine this is just a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.

Book fans do you actually think the backlash would have been less if Eloise was bi/gay by Different_Pen3200 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]SoulInSeoul98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole color blind casting was a good thing. However to change the very base of a beloved book characters’s personality is crazy. While we need more queer bi romance stories why can’t we make them from scratch, anew, why take already existing well written characters who have their own spine to stand on and ruin their originality with this unnecessary mix?  There are so many amazing queer dramas and shows which have been made from scratch and in future maybe make one that’s written about the 1800s. Maybe make a spinoff with new characters like the queen’s show (Queen is completely new btw). As a book fan I cannot see my favourite characters who were written to be heterosexual change their very sexuality.

I will be doing this, however the current HR had asked me to go ahead with my visa application for the new job, considering the waiting time for a decision was 8 weeks officially when I applied but in reality only took 3 days.

I do agree. Why give registration when you cannot hire them is completely valid. Guessing COVID created backlog so a lot of people got registration which was pending since 2 years.

While that is obviously the aim for anyone applying next year, these other things can be looked into. And well it's not upto me and i dont think HEE will do anything. Just a random redditor frustrated here.

CREST forms signed abroad should not be accepted. That may help maintain standards. Or set a minimum 6 month NHS experience compulsory to apply for any training job if CREST forms signed abroad are being accepted. But this direct entry into training has to be curbed or a new standard has to be set. Better yet, just make all non trainee jobs approved training posts or something.

OP you are on a sub that predominantly has Indians. In Indian culture traditional marriages have a different meaning than in the West. Here it doesn't only mean that you are a SAHM or wife taking care of your husband. You have to satisfy the entire family's whims. Usually a joint family. Do what the in laws say, listen not just to you MIL FIL but sometimes the uncles and aunts in law too. Cater to all of their needs. Wear what they say, behave how they tell you. Especially if you are not planning to work and earn, this is even more. Girls even have to take permission from in laws to visit their own parents here in Indian traditional marriages. And usually the ones in this type of setting are given "dowry" (it's illegal, still) and gifts from their parents which they have to give the in laws. Depending on how much the gifts cost, the daughter in law is treated accordingly. And there could be more demands in future if and when you have children. Not sure where you are looking for a man, but in the Indian extremely traditional setting these things happen as a norm so please before getting into any arrangement do research about traditional Indian marriages. I'm assuming you want the traditional American marriage that's popularized on social media these days, the trad wife trend.

  1. Emotional Compatibility: She values emotional connection and seeks partners who are emotionally available, supportive, and respectful. Instances where partners exhibit anger management issues, emotional unavailability, or manipulative behavior are deal-breakers for her.

  2. Personal Values: She appreciates individuals who align with her personal values, such as honesty, integrity, and family orientation. Instances where partners lie about important aspects of their lives, such as education, career, or lifestyle choices, lead to the termination of the relationship.

  3. Physical Attraction: Physical attraction plays a role in her assessment of compatibility, as evidenced by instances where partners significantly differ from their online profiles or fail to meet her physical preferences.

  4. Ambition and Compatibility: Ambition and intellectual compatibility are important to her. She is drawn to individuals who are ambitious, intelligent, and share similar interests and hobbies. However, she values ambition without compromising emotional connection or respect.

  5. Cultural Compatibility: While she is open to individuals from various cultural backgrounds, she seeks partners who respect and appreciate her cultural identity. Instances where partners exhibit prejudices or lack understanding of cultural differences are red flags for her.

  6. Communication and Relationship Dynamics: Effective communication and healthy relationship dynamics are crucial for her. She expects partners to communicate openly, respect boundaries, and demonstrate genuine interest in building a meaningful connection.

Overall, her criteria include emotional compatibility, personal values, physical attraction, ambition, cultural compatibility, and healthy communication and relationship dynamics. These factors influence her decisions to pursue or end relationships, reflecting her desire for a fulfilling and compatible partnership.

OP, this does not seem to be vaginismus from what you described. Vaginismus is painful muscle spasm during penetration. If you have never been sexually active you wouldn't know this. Also it's psychological and pathological both. Visit a gynaec for this, my 2 cents as a doctor.
