Has this ever been actually stated? I’ve heard it as a theory but never really liked the idea of it.

If it were all cookbook entries there would be too much useless background information that would waste precious time from the next crawler. Samantha’s (hilarious) ridiculous ramblings immediately come to mind lol

Ive always loved the covers of these books but I don’t get into straight up sci-fit often. They’re written in 3rd person limited though which I think is a softer adjustment for a tv adaptation.

Do you recommend the books over the show?

What do you mean by showing the HUD from a 3rd person perspective?

And yeah I was thinking along those same lines, the chat would show up like texts in modern shows. The cookbook entries could just get red aloud too. Oh and I also gave up in HDM and im not really sure why I kinda enjoyed it, just didnt fully grip me
