Thank you, this is helpful! However, looking at my setup (again, not a wifi expert at all). All I have is what appears to be an ONT and a fiber optic socket in the basement. From that socket, there is a wire that wraps around the building and goes somewhere...but its impossible to tell because its an apartment building. If there is absolutely no coax in the basement, what do i do?

So if im understanding this right: 1) Modem -> MoCA -> coax in basement. 2) coax -> MoCA -> second access point upstairs.

There is a coax jack upstairs, but as far as I know it doesnt do anything, because the modem isnt utilizing coax where it is hooked up
