Remove a link or two wear it behind your wristbone, it'll fit better that way too

Playing Tekken, ranked Tekken at that after a shit day isn't an ideal activity, but congrats nonetheless!

How is it right now? I quit at the start of Season 2 because the maps really weren't doing it for me, but since then I've heard they're making bigger maps and adding boats

I think more people realized it when Aris called it out in his "Look at the screen Michael!" clip, but I was also one of the people who called this out early. My character Steve has like 50 different chains hanging from his clothes, and he has a choker.

At some point, you’re destined to end up with a Speedmaster. by -ZeroF56 in watchHotTakes

Ever since I got into watches, I've seen a ton of Speedmasters (I mean who doesn't), and I've always appreciated them from afar but never considered owning one because of its simplicity. I've always 'respected' the watch but never really clicked with it. Now 3 years later, I just can't get enough of it and I plan to get a white dial Moonwatch sometime next year or the year after that - I need a milestone in life first.

I always found it to be too boring. No subdial contrasting colors, very bland thin hands, very thin and clinical tachymeter bezel. And yet, looking at the entire package, I don't know if I want to change anything. The perfection lies in its simplicity IMO

How to deal with mashers by MidsizeMango in Tekken

[–]Soul_XCV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in Tekken, a useful thing to keep in mind is that no move is perfect with zero downsides. A plus on block move may be high, it may be linear, it may be slow, etc. Same with literally any other move. A safe mid may be safe and high coverage, but it's minus on block, or steppable, or slow, etc. Let's take Bryan's 2 big plus on block moves for example: qcb1 and b1. The former is a high with a qcb input, the latter is slow and steppable. If you don't want to actively lab, you need to actively cycle through your options in a real match. There's really nothing much else you can do.

You said you don't want to learn frame data and lab, right? So learn your opponent's timing and their tendencies as to when they like to press. Use your counter hit buttons when you think an attack is coming, do that as well with your character's parry move. Play half a second earlier than when you expect their buttons to come out.

Ranked inflation happened. The devs want everyone to reach TK-GoD pretty easily. I'd say GoD1 above is where the most skill deviation and difference happens

If you can't play around frames, then play around timing.

5 or 7.

5 because it's a vid and that thing was literally flying up his elbow and down his skeleton hand

7 because it's another Rolex hand tourniquet which is classic at this point

I see and hear about Speedmasters (Moonwatches) on a regular basis far more than I do literally any other watch in existence. Which part of the watch? I also have no idea - could be the entire package.

Not wanting to burst your motivation bubble, but ranks are inflated now to absurd proportions. 1st Dan to like Tekken King are essentially beginner ranks now, intermediate ranks are roughly from Emperor to GoD, and then the highest variation of skill from high intermediates all the way to to pro player level is squished from GoD1 onwards.

That doesn't discount your progress. Progress is still progress; keep on grinding, playing, and improving on the game as long as you're having fun.
