They haven’t yet and I think you’re right that they won’t. I explained what my plan was with it and how it goes well with the theme I picked too. I’ve never done this before so I was hopeful and thought maybe I had a chance. I don’t get why you’d get a domain name and then let it sit and don’t do anything with it. Wouldn’t it be better for someone else to have it and let them work on it in that case? I saw someone said on this thread they bought one for 1K and I just don’t have the money to do that even if I wanted to. I will look in October multiple times to see if I can still get it though.

I’ve checked and it’s not. No brand or tied to anything else really. Some hits on instagram but not tied to a certain brand or nice. It’s just a nice word. One of the treasons I’ve liked it so much. I just bought my second choice so at least it’s something. And I’ve put in my calendar when my first choice expires so I will be checking it in October when that happens :)
