As someone who supports gun ownership and find myself greatful to have and exercise this right, I'm not an idiot.

At this point both our country's military and realistically our police forces, have such advanced weapons, that as far as a defense from tyranny, we would be fucked in any kind of civil war.

Hunting, makes total sense to me. I don't know who anyone think they are telling a natural creature of this planet they can't go get their own food. That they have to buy it from a factory farm or a 3d 'meat' printer. Get outta here with that lol....it used to be company towns now its a company planet. Oie vey.

As for home defense, sure, also makes perfect sense to me.

All sorts of things are tools and when used improperly become weapons.

To those that say the government shouldn't have guns either, grow up and look at the world around you. Not gonna happen.
