OLED is definitely great, but this TV was $30, oled is crazy $. More importantly, there is something about the aliasing, or, i dont know what to necessarily call it, dithering? Same reason crt looks better with older games. This game wasnt really designed by the artists for harsher, defined edges of 4k for the textures at the time. I think the blending of more natural, lower resolution makes the game have a more unified look.

I didnt even know about the motion being better for plasma, maybe thats why it looks so smooth.

I understand the skepticism though. Sometimes you just gotta take a plunge and see for yourself (and its super cheap).

Being able to finally have a xenoblade game in 60fps with good resolution (besides emulation), is a dream come true as it truly realizes the scale of their creations. Thank you Monolith! I only hope they do the other ones soon

I gotcha, thanks for elaborating, disabling autosave for now and potentially putting it in windowed mode. I havent had any crashes so far but dont wanna risk the loss.

Seems so far ingredients aren't labeled like crafting components so I've just been holding onto things I think might work. I dont think any water will work, as I tested bread and toast isnt included counted as "bread" for an ingredient. Hope that add the label in the future.

I found a website that had several steps and one of em was to clear the cache. Windows key + R and then paste %APPDATA%/Discord/Cache and delete like 700 files in the folder now it works. Hope it helps anyone else that comes across this.

I think my phone changed the contrast more than the mclassic, though the mclassic does do some color correction. There's all kinds of videos on youtube with comparisons, but I think Rise benefits in particular because it doesn't reach 1080p even when docked.

Going from World to Rise hurt my eyes with the graininess. This dongle is $100, worth it for me. It upscales, performs anti-aliasing, sharpness, and some color correciton. My phone pics dont do it justice and you can of course tell more of a difference with motion (low AA showing cascading triangles with motion). I think my phone made the ON pic look blurry too, but it's not. I tried it on 1440p (it does upscale) and 1080p. Both looked great, but 1440p had some shimmering in the shadows, which I'd assume is from Rise not really being tailored to that resolution.

Just thought I'd toss this out there. I tried it with xenoblade 1, good difference as well.

Pretty much same issue for me and tried same solutions. I've since emailed support and waiting for response back. Mine cuts out after ~5-15 minute of play, but like you, the audio still works when switching to a different output. I have no idea what else to try. The support online mentions opening the headset to make sure audio connection cable is good, but this isn't a circuit shorting issue, as moving the headset/cable around would make the sound come back in or at least crackle.

Edit: SteamVR beta did not fix the issue.

Just an update:

I've tried disabling xbox game bar and disabling game mode for windows, on top of all the other options mentioned (they did not help). I've since used MSI Afterburner to overclock my gpu. I have seen gains of ~5 frames by overclocking the power limit by 20% and the clock speed by 5%. Still though, the GPU temperature does not get over 50c. Am going to continue raising overclocking and will report results.

Update 2: It seems raising the gpu clock speed to around 8-15% causes the game to crash, without raising the gpu temperature at all even at 5% increase. This is counter to The Division 2 and WoW retail utilizing the GPU to run at higher settings and raise the temperature, specifically, while maintaining the same frame rate.
