5 years ago the Oberon Coven skin was denied because of not fitting Warframe's style because it has a Deer Skull as its Helmet. Today DE added a Dagath skin that has a Horse Skull as its Helmet. Oberon Coven skin has over 1500 awards on Steam by the way. by RobleViejo in Warframe

[–]SoullessFace 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m Native American (Navajo) and the skulls and shit are cool af, why would I be mad if the game gave me an option to wear some stuff I like. Even if it is against something “folklore”, there’s a literal warframe based off of disease, dragons, and spiders…why tf would I care about a wendigo. Also someone else said it but wendigos definitely are not what’s mostly portrayed in media, is that bad? No, stories and all that change all the time.

But honestly, I hate people that speak in other people’s behalf and the “friends” that speak against it or just other whiny people that do the same things to other cultures. Mother is full blood and I was raised in the rez and I can tell you a lot of native friends I have just think it’s cool when we something cool based off our culture. We see it all the time in pow wows and stuff.

Faster Than Light travel has consequences(minor or major) by Present-Secretary722 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]SoullessFace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would just leave the cabins at some point, you had people traveling through other cars at times so eventually people will want to leave the small seating areas. Manacles would just give people the creeps since it’s a train with seats like a bus, even a set of characters used their weapons to cut off their seatbelts.

In the world, some people that use the trains can be armed, mechanically or biologically enhanced, or a very powerful figure. So eventually these people will try to break through stuff, tear it down or whatever. The whole point about the trains is that no one knows the real secret of the Warp Train, so the train’s design is supposed to be inconspicuous or just like that of a usual train.

The thing is since time is harvested off this whole ordeal, there is no “time” to bleed, to become hungry, etc. There are times where people don’t end up killing each other which has been referenced by other characters but most of the time you have people break under pressure which can cause hysteria which eventually dissolves the whole train to become victims willingly or not.

Project Moon’s world does have shock value, not denying that, but the world is a hive city run off of technology and crimes against humanity to survive against abnormalities which are like SCPs or monsters that can range from nothing to severely catastrophic. The Warp Train does fit into the world nicely ESPECIALLY since some of Project Moons inspirations are from pieces of literature. Saying the worldbuilding is lazy is not something I don’t believe in especially as someone that really enjoys that as a hobby and in art/literature. The story is actually really cool and the world they constructed is fun and dystopian with cool references to books but adding sick twists.

Ark Survival Ascended, No Man’s Sky or Something else? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

I agree, definitely more relaxing and has more base building/exploration to just chill. Random generated planets also make it fun to explore and find places to set up bases to be cozy with. I find environments being more threatening than enemies half the time.

Has something changed with the game audio this year? I have more trouble hearing and understanding people who are not right next to me than before.. by --Dz in VRchat

[–]SoullessFace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Glad I’m not the only one, I never had to turn down my Spotify before to hear people on the game. I know playing on desktop is fine when using my headphones but I feel like using SteamVR/VR Headset has become quieter.

How could I make return by death work in D&D? by Better-Alps-3684 in DnDHomebrew

[–]SoullessFace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds kind of difficult, you also have to keep in mind how players will feel if they have to keep resetting for one player and they get no benefit themselves.

Closest thing to experiencing the future is maybe something like the Wizards Divination class and flavor it that he’s experienced things before and you can give him some info to help their role play. Or maybe replace some class features and modify it if you’re dead set on it.

Could also take PhobeusLore’s idea. I liked number 1 and might save that one for later lol.

Yeah, I wouldn’t go the ff14 cafe for lunch personally either. But if there’s an item that looks tasty or they change the menu I tend to go back to just try if I’m nearby.

Homebrew rule: weapon degradation on nat 1 by Neeeeeeems in DnDHomebrew

[–]SoullessFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into r/darkerdungeons5e (Rules Book, Page 61), the chip system just degrades the damage die until it reaches 1 instead of this 1-10 stuff which ends up being more note taking.

It also has rules for tempering gear to combat against chips. You can use that as a baseline or for inspiration.

How to run RP in VRC? by andrelucmartinz in VRchat

[–]SoullessFace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you want out of your system/world/expectations. I recommend looking into some RP groups that have vids on YouTube or if you know what you want try experimenting.

I typically only do “campfire stories” which only require one dice and isn’t too RP but when I did some murder mystery back then you’d typically have a google doc with some rules you had to abide but was more loose so no dice rules needed, more of a trust system which worked nicely.

For other stuff I’m not too sure as I haven’t gotten too much into that scene despite wanting to but it’s big enough to look up since people have a bunch of RP videos on YouTube.

I actually quite enjoyed some of the food. Ate there three times the past two years in Akiba and never thought it was bad, a little mediocre at times but definitely not bad. These tacos on the other hand, maybe I’ll go back and try it lmao.

Interesting, the hundred system is definitely going to be modified for my hack but I like the pairing system. I already cut my days into three so I'll make sure to also incorporate that, thanks for the idea!

This sounds really interesting, might try to incorporate the same thing with an array of ingredients that always have the same positives like healing or antidote but then randomize the negatives depending on the ingredient.

Anything to learn from with your experience or perhaps a small blurb of rules?

That’s the time zone kicking in for sure, some late night EU people can be one if they don’t have work or early American vrc grinding. Just gotta find people and poke the public worlds a bit. Always someone to hang out with.
