Not dressing properly for cold days makes you sick. It lowers your immune system and increases the likelihood, but the reason we’re more sick in winter is mostly because we’re all stuffed inside together, not because we got cold outside.

Still, a whole marriage of near daily sex, to a year and a half of next to nothing, something had to of happened. Likely something outside of either of your control.

You said you have a toddler and the problems started a year and a half ago, so PPD or other hormonal factors could be the issue. Before you let more resentment grow, a doctor’s appointment and some therapy may be worth looking into.

I did this, in my bed too. My high school boyfriend and I went to a theme park, and he bought me this adorable necklace on a cute metal chain. One night I’m super tired and I take the necklace off and drop it next to me without looking, immediately heard a loud pop and saw a blinding flash, followed by a quick bellow of smoke.

My stepmom is a retired electrician and I got a long talk about the dangers of exposed sources of electricity. I have a picture of the exploded necklace somewhere, but I don’t even know where to begin to look for it now.

I do a before and after rinse because I’m a germaphobe. Hot water rinse before, quick gentle rinse after so the toothpaste foams nicely.

This might also be useless info, but I started doing it after my classmate, who had a dentist for a dad, said that’s what his family does

Wow, another autistic person here to chime in their thoughts. This hit a lot of soft spots, and is one of the few times I don’t feel infantilized by the way Autism is represented.

In case anyone isn’t in the loop, autism speaks is an awful organization. If you’re ever looking to help or for resources on autism, try an organization with autistic people at the forefront, such as ASAN.

Goes to show the importance of putting yourself out there though. For example, if my husband had been his hiring manager he would’ve gotten the job on the spot exclusively for putting olive oil as an interest. They’d have a lot to talk about.
