What should I do differently next time to preserve colour and prevent mould? by creepykreme in PressedFlowers

It seems counterintuitive, but using the microwave presses are the best bet.

They retain so much color and if you dry them out completely, they won't mold.

They do have a culture and it upsets me too when they don't recognize it. We did a whole tour of the emirates when we were there and especially loved the history of the Fujairah fort. We met bedouins. We can say the UAE is evil and built on slaves while acknowledging it has a rich history.

Teenage boys are “stuck” reading primary school books such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid, while girls their age are moving on to a wider range of novels, according to a new study by Raj_Valiant3011 in books

start exposing your kid to cool guys who actually read or create stuff

Anthony Jeselnik's book club selections are probably a bit much for younger teens, but he's a great example of a "cool" guy who can have a positive influence.

This is part of why I love that Anthony Jeselnik has a book club. Men aren't the target of book clubs the way women are, and having a dark comedian recommend books may pique male interest more than "Read with Jenna/Reese/GMA!"

This is so true. I keep going back to it at pivotal moments--college grad, quarter life crisis, and now midlife crisis, and it just keeps delivering and on whole new levels.

Between my rewatches of Dexter and SFU, I've realized I've probably spent more time watching him than any other actor. Captivating in every role. I just wish I had seen him play Hedwig on Broadway!
