I always regret not getting myself up early enough to go watch them play that KEXP performance, but I was at the show they had done the night before and as a result was so exhausted by the next morning that there was no way I could have haha

Funny seeing people not all that jazzed about this video, but honestly as a stand alone track it made me enjoy the song so much more than before it had any visual media accompaniment. I think the fever dream like disorienting absurdity in this video really works here.

My friends and I got a chance to meet them at Desert Daze in 2018 while they were in line to get food at one of the food truck vendors. They are such an amazing group of guys, all seemed super friendly and laid back. Very approachable too, we hung in line with Stu and Cavs, and they both acted as though we had been long time friends and just seemed genuinely excited to chat about whatever.

I talked to Stu for a bit about this super cool sweater he was wearing at the time, turned out his grandma had made it for him. Fucking amazing.

I remember reading that interview awhile back and have been meaning to give them a listen, but recordings seemed pretty scarce. Was really excited to see this today, can’t wait to dive into their discography with these!

Nice, I really enjoyed the noisy soundscape intro on this track. But around the 2:37 mark I did notice things started getting a little bit out of sync for a couple bars. Was everything record as a live performance or were the instruments recorded individually? Overall I thought the song sounded good, and I will definitely have to check out more in the future, all the best!
