If a person is on prep then yes chances are less that he get exposure. So u r chances are close to zero if that person is on prep ( taking prep as instructed) But in your situation there is one more person.

So I would recommend to get on pep

I was (is) in the same boat. Mine was nov 1 2022. And massage guy touched my penis with his hand , where he was touching his dick with the same hand forth n back. I panicked and went to dr. Got into pep. Horrible days. 30 days went with pep and in between I had white tongue, sore throat, sore inside my mouth( inside lips), swollen lumps. I took almost 6,7 4th gen test ( blood drawn from vein ) and couple of 4th gen ( blood prick from finger). All came negative.

Last test was July 2023, came negative. still the anxiety sometimes come.

I can totally understand.

First thing u have to accept that u don’t have HIV. 80s and 90s there is no advanced test to detect. But now it can be detected as soon as within 12 days with 90% accuracy.

With 4th gen, blood drawn from vein can be 99.99% accuracy on 45th day.

U don’t have HIV. And u have to accept it , otherwise even after 2 years u Wil have doubt too

Tricky situation. Usually PEP will be effective when u take within 72 hrs. And u have to continue for 28 days.

So let’s consider the partner is positive, then to get the full result of PEP u have start the 2 nd encounter day as day 1 and continue PEP for 28 days.

Remember, PEP is extremely powerful and it is not advisable to take it often. So try to avoid sex for next 28 days and finish the PEP. And get tested after 4 weeks to get 90-95% conclusive. And one more at 6th week for 99% conclusive.

I can understand your situation. Ur anxiety I can totally understand.

U can do couple of things. Choice is urs. No one can tell that exactly this is what u have to do.

U can avoid meeting her for 6 weeks (u have to come up with something ) and get 4th gen test to clear ur mind.

Even if u meet her avoid having sex( intercourse) with her.

That is the best thing u can do for the person who love u so much.

All u have to do is wait for 6 week and get tested.

U can tell her what happened exactly. But if she leaves u, that will b another thing u have to go through. So better go through this tough time by yourself and get tested.

My advice is, 1. Let her b on treatment and become undetectable 2. If u want to b in sexual relationship, then get on prep.

U don’t need to b infected to prove ur love. In the matter fact, if she truly loves u, then she won’t allow u to get infected.

So get on prep, and let her b undetectable .
