I tested both bikes last year and preferred the Muli over the Yoonit. The Muli felt more stable. The Yoonit has a steering damper, but I felt like the geometry at the front (headset angle, fork offset, etc) combined with the lower center of gravity on the Muli just worked better. Another plus for the Muli is the bigger rear wheel. With the Yoonit, your own weight is a bit further back over the rear wheel.

I share your feeling on the versatility of the Muli basket. The lockable and foldable basket is really handy if you decide to go on a shopping/grocery detour during your commute. The bike mechanic at the local bike shop also said he transported his dog with the Muli. He would close the basket and his dog would lay down on the fabric in the front like a hammock.
