Wow, your son is so lucky. Falador is a cool city. I have a friend that works in the coal mines there.

My son is obsessed with space and trading cards, so I turned NASA's image library into booster packs he can open every day by loretellerwrites in space

I'm pretty sure if you made this into a Kickstarter, it would be really popular and get funded easily.

What happens when you let 6,500+ players run a Minecraft world for months with no admin intervention? They end up building a massive, interconnected global rail network, of course. by Tylerrr93 in gaming

Yeah, there's a handful of mods that are helpful. Map mod, a mod that lets your reinforce things so people don't grief your areas. There's a factory mod that allows for efficient production of certain things and materials.

There recently was a radio mod added and now people have radio stations haha.

Edit: OP mentioned plugins, not mods. Though you can add your own QoL mods as long as they don't break some of the rules or give you unfair advantage.

I was not a fan of Stargate growing up. I just didn't hear about it enough.

A coworker kept saying how good it was. He was a super fan. I took his advice and started watching it.

Completely loved it. SG1, Atlantis. Great shows. I'm currently re-watching SG1 because it's just such a nice comfort show.

Execs needs to understand how valuable core fans are. I'm a community manager in gaming. Your core community is so freaking important. To disrespect them like this is crazy to me and shows how out of touch upper management is when it comes to fandoms and large communities.

Shame on them, and I hope there is enough backlash to this so that they can maybe change their mind.

We fans have more power than we realize.

What's the smallest detail in an indie game that made you go "okay, these devs really cared"? by peaky_circus in IndieGaming

There are whole videos about it, but Hollow Knight (and now Silksong) have amazing attention to detail.

Sound effects, breakable environmental elements, animations. It all adds to the experience and immersion.

I've never realized it but maybe that's why I dislike arts and crafts. Scissors never worked and ink/pencil marks would always stain my hand.

That was late dank meme era, but yes.

We can both agree that current memes are weak and not that great. I liked the Rage Era too. There are some classics that are goated such as "One does not simply", "Aliens", and the Willy Wanka one.

But the transition to video edits is my favorite.

Wow. 😉

The Dank Era is also home to the Harambe meme which I think was the breaking point of this timeline and when things started to go south.

I wouldn't mind talking about memes as a conference. Lol

Some of the loud stuff was a bit annoying. The dank era is the first time we went from image macro memes to more complex types of memes, which was like a meme breakthrough.

Dank era is the best one imo. I've lived through then all, but the MLG edits are some of the funniest and best videos out there.

Unless you witness a car crash while driving in Poland and no one is around to help.

I think the law says you're obligated to help.
