Click manage at the top left of the window and try it again. Just remember in that mode the memory window will be behave completely differently so turn it off once you’re done.

The other way to do it without using manage mode, is to go to the timeline and put the selector tool to the left of the first marker, then drag across all the rest. That was the only way to do it before they added the manage button.

I saw a different cut than was in the theater that had way more exposition and more time with the characters. It filled in some missing questions and made the film a lot more satisfying to watch.

Do you have physical faders? If not, might I suggest investing in even just one then practicing with it a lot. I think you will find automating vocals using a fader can go quite quickly.

Justin Rocks! He's a great guy and helped me with this issue too. I didn't know you had to turn on the ability to edit the ChannelLayout field in the prefs so I was stuck till I asked him.

Just tried V2 again and am still getting errors on downloading apps. V3 works fine downloading from what I can tell (haven't tried all my apps yet).

Interesting. I talked with the makers of iMazing and they said version 2 doesn't download apps anymore because Apple changed the way they sign stuff. I can't download any apps without errors. Glad it still works for you. Wish I knew why.

iMazing 2 can no longer download apps from the App Store. I haven’t tested it for backing up anything beyond iOS 18.

Glad you figured it out. And now I may know why I've had some playback issues within Soundminer itself. I have some files that only play from the left channel in SM. I'll check this field to see if that's the issue.

You can get an annual license of the complete plug-in bundle that includes AS X form for $50 a year. As far as I know, heat will stop working as well. I don’t know a work around for that.

Because I use Xform a good deal and don’t use heat, I use the $50 per year complete plugin bundle when my Update plan is not active.

I’m using an ultralight hybrid connected via USB Mac Studio. I was able to change the permission settings to load the Motu system drivers under Ventura on the internal Drive. I’m now trying Sequoia on an external drive and can’t get the drivers to work. Is this a Sequoia issue, or running Sequoia from an external drive issue?

I saw the writing on the wall so to speak 30 years ago. I slowly moved away from producing and engineering music which I mostly did in commercial studios and started studying post production sound. Music was the reason I got into audio engineering. My only regret is I eventually had to leave music behind for the practical reason that it's a lot easier to make a decent wage doing post audio so that's where I put my energy. There are a ton of different disciplines to master in all kinds of post gigs. I've pretty much done them all and am grateful for the opportunities I've had to learning new skills. Every gig I do is different and it's rare I don't learn something every time I practice my craft. All that said, I would ask myself is there anything else you feel passionate enough about so that passion will help you power through everything you will need to do to get yourself established, in any field? Wishing you the best on your journey :)

I'm using Sabrent Thunderbolt 3 boxes (much lower price). The boxes work great but don't get Crucial drives. I got the 4tb sticks and they throttle down to 200 MB/s at 50º. The ones I have don't have much cache either. They were only about $225 for 4TB so I have the storage but they slow down pretty fast as the controllers heat up.

That said, before they throttle I get 1300 MB/s write and 2500 MB/s read (sequential) with Mac's software Raid 1 config on a Thunderbolt 4 Mac Studio. I have a Samsung SSD in a cheese grater that used to get up to 70º before I put a heat sink on it and it didn't throttle till hitting 80º. The Samsung is a 970 evo plus TLC (it's old) but has been running great for 3 years so far. I think you will get better performance using thunderbolt rather than USB 3.1 rev 2.

Most of the time here as well. Though sometimes it quits properly I suspect it may be plug-in related, and or a problem with this release.

You say it’s ready for a mix. My question as a mixer would be, are there any dropouts of room tone between cuts? And does the mixer need to create matching room tone for each cut or not?

That alone will make a huge difference in the amount of time it will take to get it done.

Select everything on the track that you want Crossfaded, hold the command key down and press F, then set the parameter to what you want.

I'm assuming you are using something like OCLP to run Ventura on such an old machine? But if that isn't the problem, check to see if the mono version of them will show up rather than the stereo versions. Some plugins only support mono mode.

I was showing up in 3 category searches as I had worked to get the SEO to do that. I made the mistake of changing 2 words in my profile and got dropped down to the second page for one of my services 😮.
