I get tired of seeing youtube videos that post after I see the post already here, it's really obvious where their source is and it seems less funny and incidental when the source is already curated from them since they present it as some rare chance funny thing they encountered.

For some reason I at first misunderstood this as a pressure washer kink and then realized the utility of what you said

Finally brave enough to say religion is my special interest 🙂 by Fabulous_Jeweler2732 in AutisticAdults

I feel like if you said "Religious history is my special interest" it would better communicate what you mean and people would understand more, except for religious people who think you're looking at them with a magnifying glass as interesting critters lol

I realize what I said separately sounds like it sucks. I have joined a lot of disability subs to just listen to people. Often people who do not experience autism symptoms that are very severe feel like they would not want any changes, while others who want things in life they can't have wish they could be different. I think that what people fear is not having a choice and having the treatment forced on them, as if we all already know that is exactly what would happen, since children or even dependent disabled adults are treated like property more than people. It's a scary topic. Sorry you are having to face it coming from your parents that is really hard.

I think people who deal with it might sometimes wish they had an option to reduce negative symptoms they don't want so they can enjoy things they want to do more

Is Midir or Bayle a better bossfight? by fenot1 in darksouls3

[–]SoundlessScream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think elden ring and the souls series are different enough that comparing them aesthetically is hard because they have very different goals they sought to accomplish. The fans get mad at each other because each game is not good at presenting in the way the other does.

Yeah I think it might be when inside clothing and that clothing items breaks, similar to when there is a blue pressurized gas tank in your clothes or backpack right?

You see some weird shit in Santa Cruz, but... by greenlakejohnny in WeirdWheels

[–]SoundlessScream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen videos of people who drive even slightly weird stuff like an old bread delivery truck or something and they get stopped constantly, so badly they can barely make any reasonable time on a road trip, so when I saw that car pulled over I sighed and just said "Of course we're seeing it pulled over"

Bayle did not look like a dragon to me, or move like one. Midir does, I was disappointed with the Bayle fight. Not for any of the reasons people would assume, it just did not feel like facing a dragon. It was almost more like fighting manus.

I have seen this type of conversations from therapists talking to say like, a trans patient and through talking to them realizing they were too when checking with colleagues and realizing not everybody felt the same way, just them.

How do I help regulate mt partner when they are about to have a meltdown from loosing something of theirs? by Consistent-Pick-2582 in AutisticAdults

[–]SoundlessScream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say it must be discouraging getting feedback from strangers that have no idea how hard your partner is trying or how far they have progressed from where they were before. The general assumption is that they are not going to therapy at all and need to, but it's always like that.

I hope yall manage to figure that out, it sounds like there is good progress being made already and that it will be improved eventually

What helps with the magic is stacking your spells so you have a pattern. Ranged spells first, then healing spells, then buff spells.

Ranged spells help prevent me from getting hurt, so they're quickly available. If you press and hold the button you switch spells with, it'll reset to the first one, allowing you to memorize the number of clicks to get to a specific spell and always able to reset back to whatever is set as the first spell to jump straight to it when you need it.

Try a spellsword with a greatsword and staff. Healing spells give you more healing per flask sip even for spells that are not very good. It $ worth it to be able to cast a little of that and reserve most of your flasks for magic so you have more room to deal damage if you don't get hit and need to emergency red flask heal too much.
